John Cena's career went pretty much the same way if you think about it. In 2003 (his first full year) he was one of the top heels of Smackdown and was in Main Event matches (much like Barett in 2010). In 2004, Cena was the second biggest face on Smackdown (next to Eddie), but at the same time he was holding the US title and making it the focus of the show sometimes. Do you think wade barrett should hold the US title this year as a face, and then possibly beat CM Punk at WM28 for the title?

Wade Barrett should win the Royal Rumble and headline WM27; throwing him in the midcard for a year isn't going to help because there is no midcard.

True but the midcard wasnt exactly star studded when Cena was in it either. He spent a good portion of that time fueding with a green Carlito, Jesus, Kenzo Suzuki, and Rene Dupree

If this leads to Barrett as a snooty British rapper I'm all for it.

Only if we can see Barrett hit a Wasteland on Big Show.
Not because I hate Big Show, but just because I wanna see if he can do it outside of video games.

Much better than the one on Henry.

Note how he didn't lean back his opponent? That's why it looked better than it did on Henry. It meant he didn't overbalance.

Show just went up for the ride. I'm impressed that Wade was able to pick Show up more than anything else. when he did it to Henry it looked like the writers thought he would be unable to pick him up any other way than from the ropes. And then the near catastrophic botch that followed just made it seem like a bad idea to do it on another big man ever again. Good to see that he can perform his finisher on anyone on the roster.

He might have trouble doing it to Khali. Even though Khali weighs less than Show, most of his weight is in his upper body so it'd be difficult to balance him.
