His match with DH Smith on Superstars was one hell of a match, that showed despite rumours of him winding down his career, he still has a a hell of a lot to offer.
I'd really love a Regal Bryan fued.

Yep.
Regal may look pudgy and out of shape but he can still put on great matches. If he feels okay to do so I'd definitely be happy with him sticking round for another year or two yet.
It's weird, when most guys start to get out of shape it shows in the quality of matches they put on but Regal seems just as good as ever. Maybe it's because he works a slower, more old school style that he doesn't need to be in peak shape to work like that.
I'd actually like to see an extended Regal vs Smith programme, maybe even leading up to a tag team run for them. A final tag title run but be a nice thankyou to Regal for the work he's put in over the years and, it helps give Smith something to do for a while.

Honestly Regal's always looked kinda paunchy from what I recall of him.

Honestly, Regal could get as big as Stan Hansen and he'd still put on ridiculously good matches.

Let's not neglect DH Smith in that match either. It shows that he is at least capable of hanging in there when he is wrestling with someone skilled.

I was really impressed with Smith's selling of the injured leg, like how he couldn't keep the bridge for the Northern Lights Suplex up and his leg giving way when attempting the power slam etc. Smith did a good job

Like the previous posters mentioned, it helped that Smith was in the match as he's actually rather awesome. He held up his end well, in the hold for hold exchange they had and then the selling of Regal's disection.
