I laughed at that too. Didn't Flair say something about how that title was garbage?

When given the right material, Eric Young is possibly the funniest guy in the wrestling biz.

I loved it. I was watching the promo then suddenly thought "hang on is that Eric Young"? are they even going to mention him.
I do wish Anderson would swap Belts with him though. He could still call himself "Champion of the universe" or something with the hardyface belt.

I love, love, love LOVE EY. He is teflon. It just proves just how much of a great performer he is. You get the impression he's probably really nice in real life too.

I could have swore that I heard Eric Young among all the screaming in the locker room. I was surprised to find out I was right.

Anything involving Flair on iMPACT was gold, including this.

For what it's worth, a friend of mine gave him a ride across town when he came to Iowa a few years ago for an indy show, and she said he was really nice then.

I would love it if EY turned out to be something huge in the THEY 2.0 angle.
Here is a guy who was really starting to shine as leader of the World Elite, who gets knocked right back down the card with the arrival of Bischoff & Hogan, and who has managed to stay sort of on the outskirts of the spotlight ever since that time. The story of Anderson's concussion - there in the background is EY doing a "spoof" concussion angle of sorts. Now the whole Immortal thing has EY in an apparent background comedic role.
Why not have it that all this time, EY was simply watching, waiting, biding his time and playing the "idiot" role to a t, largely because he KNEW he could do so and not arouse suspicion?
My appreciation for Creative would jump tenfold if they actually did something with this.

Its probably wishful thinking. But when I saw Eric in the Immortal group, I thought "Eric Young is part of the Angle-Steiner group and is spying on Immortal".
