Good. Hopefully TNA will ditch flair to force him to go back to the E and hopefully be sent to rehab like Scott Hall before moving into the ambassador job they offered him after his retirement.

Now I imagine Flair traveling through Europe, backpacking and trying to live hand to mouth, fighting people in bars and getting it on with lasses of all types. First thing that came to mind:

Didn't Ric Flair make many millions of dollars from NWA/WCW/WWF/WWE? What did he do with it all? I believe it's on the Four Horsemen DVD where Ric says something along the lines of "If I made A Hundred Grand, I'd spend a hundred and fifty". So that explains alot right there

Until he's attacked by a werewolf and he becomes a werewolf himself. And has to put a silver bullet in the original werewolf. Hairy wrestlers, watch your backs. "Oh crap."

Give him the damn money. The party has to go on. Has to. Why should they? He acting lke a child. I mean wrestling is a business and a job. Why should they pay him in advance for work he hasn't done yet. Do you get paid at your job in advance? No. Why should TNA just so he can take that money and get wasted and be the "nature boy" life style? If he doesn't have money. Then that he own fault. Because he blew it on drinks for himself and anybody else he paid for. Give him a blank check. Panda has the money.

"The whole thing was stupid but most of us feel more sorry for him than upset. If someone told you everyone is mad, that's a lie. But, there are some pissed because it makes the entire crew look like a**holes and we are certainly tired of his sh**. Flair's asked several of us for money when he's had his credit cards declined. When that happens, the bar tab comes and others get stuck paying for the very drinks he said were on the house in the first place. Everyone loves the "Nature Boy", but when the limousines and party lifestyle is based on bad credit and lies, it suddenly becomes more pathetic than anything else. There is nothing glamorous about a guy who has no concept of money management and then lies to try and get out of it. The fact he has no money should be a lesson every wrestler today should take note of. Don't let this happen to you. If you read the Gorgeous George book that came out and then take an honest look at Ric, you realize, wow, that book is pretty much predicting his future - and that's not a happy ending."
Quite the opposite, that's a great model to use, he always find a sucker to pay for his stuff. And he's been doing that since the 70s. Whooooooo!!!! ;D

Yep. Hasn't he also admitted to trying to get Regal to start drinking again, getting HBK drunk and turning Cena into a big drinker? Good for TNA for not giving him an advance. Regal's an alcoholic, so I can say nothing there. The rest of them are purely lack of willpower to say NO to this guy. But some blame does have to go on Flair for pushing alcohol onto them. Regal and HBK have well documented pasts with addiction. Those are guys you shouldn't be trying to get to drink. And turning someone into a big drinker isn't something to be proud of. Flair has shown he won't drop the partying lifestyle.

This is not shocking if you kept up with the last few years of Ric's career and life. He can never leave wrestling because all he knows is the Nature Boy lifestyle. Richard Fleur doesn't exist anymore. Yep. Hasn't he also admitted to trying to get Regal to start drinking again, getting HBK drunk and turning Cena into a big drinker? Good for TNA for not giving him an advance. Not only did he admit these things in his shoot, but he also said he taught Cena just after he won his first WWE Title that the top guy buys the drinks for everyone.

Flair: "Now, John, if you're gonna BE DA MAN, you gotta BE DA MAN, and buy drinks for all the boys! That's what the top guy does. We can start right now!" Cena: "OK, Ric, I can do that...hey, waitaminit, we're the only people in the bar." Flair: "HOWBOUTTHAT!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" *elbowdrops his bartab*

Okay, when the inevitable happens, I don't want anyone who's negatively commenting on Flair to be on the R.I.P Ric Flair thread praising him.

The younger wrestlers are mad at Flair, who will put them over, but not JJ, Hulk, Nash or Steiner who won't/wouldn't. Yes, he has his flaws, but you'd think he was Chris Benoit/Terrell Owens/Randy Moss/Ty Cobb all rolled into one judging by this thread.

Okay, when the inevitable happens, I don't want anyone who's negatively commenting on Flair to be on the R.I.P Ric Flair thread praising him. What if you respect Ric Flair the wrestler but don't like Ric Flair the man? You must have not read some of the threads dealing with the various health problems Hulk Hogan had. Some of his biggest haters wrote kindly about him without being dickish. I think some folks can separate feelings about the wrestler from the real person.

The younger wrestlers are fed up with all the bs coming from the older and big name wrestlers. They bust their asses for less money and praise just to get told you need them more they need you.

I was at the Glasgow show tonight and he accompanied Beer Money to the ring in their match against the British Invasion. He seemed in good spirits (no pun intended) and got a great reception as you would expect.
For anyone interested, the results were (as best as I can remember)
Kazarian retained X Divison title against Sabin, Shannon Moore & Askins (?) Mickie James & Angelina Love bt. Tara & Madison Rayne Jeff Jarrett bt. Lionheart (local wrestler) w/Greg Hemphill (star of popular Scottish sitcom) as special ref Beer Money bt. British Invasion Matt Morgan bt. The Pope Anderson & RVD bt. The Hardys
Good show but not as good as the house show they did here in 09, imo. Crowd were really great though.

I think who wins and loses a scripted, predetermined match is a lot less significant to most everyone backstage than whether or not a performer can behave professionally enough to not throw tantrums when no one will lend him money to pay off bar tabs that he accrued solely through his own inability to manage his finances. before moving into the ambassador job they offered him after his retirement. Now that WWE has Shawn to fill the "beloved veteran elder statesman of pro wrestling" role, I don't think that offer's still on the table for Flair. Especially given that it's becoming more and more apparent he's just going to keep embarassing himself.

I've not watched TNA much in the last month so I wasn't sure if he was a new addition to TNA or a local talent, but he played his part in the best match of the night, in my opinion. I never noticed any signs of Storm being injured besides looking sluggish running across the ring, but just about everybody did. I'm sure that ring was much smaller than the one they use on TV, it looked tiny.
