I've not watched TNA much in the last month so I wasn't sure if he was a new addition to TNA or a local talent, but he played his part in the best match of the night, in my opinion. I never noticed any signs of Storm being injured besides looking sluggish running across the ring, but just about everybody did. I'm sure that ring was much smaller than the one they use on TV, it looked tiny. Haskins has only joined for the tour. Also I agree on the ring, it does look a lot smaller.

I was at the Glasgow show tonight and he accompanied Beer Money to the ring in their match against the British Invasion. He seemed in good spirits (no pun intended) and got a great reception as you would expect. For anyone interested, the results were (as best as I can remember) Kazarian retained X Divison title against Sabin, Shannon Moore & Askins (?) Mickie James & Angelina Love bt. Tara & Madison Rayne Jeff Jarrett bt. Lionheart (local wrestler) w/Greg Hemphill (star of popular Scottish sitcom) as special ref Beer Money bt. British Invasion Matt Morgan bt. The Pope Anderson & RVD bt. The Hardys Good show but not as good as the house show they did here in 09, imo. Crowd were really great though. I dunno why but for bit i thought it was Curt Hawkins for some reason Greg was actually quite a decet ref, though I was tinking "If Jarrett does someing ilegal is Greg going to say ' Gonnie no' dae that' ? ", I did like when Jeff told Greg just to standn he corner and do nothing..thenlater goes for a pin on Lionheart and gregs standing there with a "hey..you told me to stand here nd not do anything" look Loinheart would be a good addition to the roster was great to see British Invasion (even in the mtchingtights) backtogether briefly ), those beer money chants got deafening where were you?I as in section C wearing the tna hoodie (the blue mock college logo one) the missus went away happy she saw the hardys tag inperson (whenw e went to wwe it was when they were feuding) btw..Matt Hardy isn't as fat as made out..though there ws a fat guy shouting "your fat hardy"..yeah

Funny, for being such an alcoholic. the phrase "In no condition to perform" has never been attached to Flair, except for the time he BROKE HIS BACK IN A PLANE CRASH before three-quarters of the TNA roster were born. If you want to see guys destroyed by booze and drugs, I present to you Jake Roberts, Scott Hall, Tommy Rich and Sean Waltman. Flair has allowed his character to get abused more than any other major character in history with less squawking. But go ahead, make him out to be a monster.

I think Flair's problems have less to do with any substance addictions than with a complete inability to think about the consequences of his actions more than five minutes ahead. No one's calling Flair a monster; just that it's rather sad and pathetic to see a guy who's made millions of dollars over his career and is well-respected in the business for his performances reduced to begging the rookies in the back to help him cover his bar tabs.

I think Hemphill is definitely a wrestling fan, he seemed to know instinctively when to clown around and when to take it seriously. Had to laugh at him at the end selling the ref bump then being pulled aside by Dixie for a photo then suddenly he's the picture of health. Very good choice as a local celebrity. Matt Hardy isnt as fat as some say he is, but I couldnt help but laugh when he took off his shirt. The best bit was when he was staring intently at a guy with a small 'FAT HARDY' sign. If looks could kill... Someone has actually uploaded about 40 minutes worth of mobile footage to YouTube. I watched some of it earlier.

A functional alcoholic for over 35 years? Look how many younger guys wrecked themselves with drugs and alcohol, either by dying early or greatly reduced performances.

I am reminded of an exchange between JR and Michael Hayes, talking about Flair on the Legends of Wrestling show on WWE Classics:
JR: "...he'd go into a bar and order 100 kamikazes -"
Hayes: "99 of 'em, he'd pour on the floor."
JR went on to slightly acknowledge Hayes' claim, but I can't remember exactly how he said it.
I'm not saying it makes sense to buy a bunch of drinks that no one's drinking, but maybe he's not drinking as much as people might think.

I hope he was the champ and thus paying for the drinks otherwise that is some serious douchebaggery. Actually, either way it is but if he's not paying for them it's just outright wrong.

I don't think Flair is in the category that Hall, Roberts, Waltman and Rich are with serious substance addiction problems. If anything I think Flair is addicted to the lifestyle. He thinks it still 1985 where he is a top draw in the business and the promoter won't mind picking up the bill.

Ric Flair seriously needs to grow up and act his age. While he has done a lot for wrestling,it doesnt give him the right to treat others like dirt so that he can embaress himself drinking and going out doing all that stuff. His family must be embaressed by him, espicially after all he said at the HOF 2008 speech,he hasent changed at all since.

Drugs and alcohol affects everyone differently. Just because one person suffers liver failure doesn't mean it's going to happen to everyone. Some folks can still perform their jobs and still be stoned.

My guess is that flair actually believes he's the Jet flyin' lemo ridin' son of a gun, and he doesn't make enough money to actually do it. The bar drinks were not just his but a bunch of other people's that he said he would pay for
