When's the last time we could say that the X Divison REALLY mattered? '07? Maybe '08? I loved it back in the day too, but it's not as if it's been that important for a long time.
So newz or true, it wouldn't bother me that much tbh.

There wasn't much point in a division for "faster-paced" wrestlers anymore after the three guys who embodied it, AJ, Joe and Daniels, main evented Turning Point '09 for the World title.
Combined with how wrestlers like the Guns can dominate the tag division, at that point the X-Division belt is basically the TNA United States title. Maybe they could just have that while still pushing more cruiserweights than WWE does on average.

Oh dear, Eric seems a bit upset. Our leader, ladies and gentlemen... He's calling him an idiot? If Bischoff was smarter a few years ago, maybe we'd be still talking about Monday Nitro right now, so he has no room to call him an idiot.

PWI and Dixie say it's false.

Oh dear, Eric seems a bit upset. Our leader, ladies and gentlemen... Dixie had a very classy response to the rumor imo. But Bischoff just rants like an insecure child.

Generation Me aren't stars unto themselves. Breaking them up would make no sense. The combo is worth more than the individual pieces. Breaking up perhaps the top tag team in the business in the Guns would be flat out dumb.
The X-Division should survive. But not at the expense of the tag division. I hope there is nothing to those rumors.

I never thought there was nothing to these rumors, but then again, they did get rid of the 6-sided ring...

I wouldnt be surprised if true. The X Division is nothing compared to how it used to be.

They still have an X-Division, I just thought they had a belt, never really see a whole Division anymore.

I never really got why they don't just call it the Cruiserweight Division. All the wrestlers (except Joe and Angle) were all under 220 pounds. What are really the requirements to be a X Division wrestler? To be able to kick out numerous finishers? Wrestle like you have been shotgunning Red Bulls?

Remember how everyone thought Kevin Nash was burying the X Division?
Turns out those were the glory days.

I think Kurt was actually 220 when he held the belt.
Hmm, familiar faces. Could this mean the return of Petey Williams? Maybe Daniels? Sonjay Dutt? Senshi?

Add PWTorch to the list of sites to not trust news from. What a bunch of phony bulls***. Keller and his peeps look really bad for this I think. I thought that Keller was just a notch below Meltzer in terms of like, respected wrestling journalists? I don't know I've only been doing this dirtsheet thing for a few years now.

I think Sonny Siaki was billed at 240 pounds.
I do remember him being the first "heavyweight" X-Division champ.
