I...I...I'm not sure what to say about this. I mean, this is the sort of thing that would make Kurt roll in his grave (I mean, grunge was created to get away from glam rock, among other reasons), yet...there's something about it that just makes me smile.

I do like that mash-up. I have just recently gotten into classic 1990s rock, and this has to be my favorite version of that song. The song has the bright cheerful feel of the older song, but is still grounded and rough like the Nirvana song. I kind of wish there were more songs that could incorporate both the gravely, "real-ness" of grunge, and the more up-beat style of the other song.

Well, there is "Smells like Layla Spirit", which pulls that off pretty well, too.

I doubt it, I bet Kurt would have gotten a kick out of it. I don't think that he took these things as seriously as most people have made him out to. As for the mash-up, I don't think that there are any songs that you can mix with "the Final Countdown" and make it sound good. God, that song sucks.

I doubt Kurt would be able to roll over in his grave considering he was cremated! :-P

I approve of this tremendous mashup.
