During the Ken Patera debate? Did he mention disclosed information about Patera's trial? Is there an uncensored version of this? Anybody know?

Good question. I have no idea, but I always assumed that he was saying something about Mr. Saito, or someone one else who wasn't a party to the angle. Defamation liability concerns is the #2 reason to censor something, after profanity. I can't imagine what else it could have been.

I figured because he'd run laps around Patera.

Probably to generate more heel heat on Heenan. If it's been censored, he must really be saying something.

Yeah, I always figured it was just Heenan actually saying something fairly mild or inoffensive, but then getting bleeped out with the announcers selling it like it was something controversial to generate heat.

I want to know why The Heenan Family attacked Ken Patera and then they didn't do anything about it. Maybe I missed something, but didn't they just beat him up and Patera turned jobber.

If I'm correct Patera got injured shortly after the attack which pretty much killed most of the momentum of the angle. Plus by that point Patera's flaws became more and more obvious - he wasn't the worker he used to be and he just wasn't very good at being a face. There really wasn't much point in pushing the feud too heavy at that point.

Heenan mentioned in one of his books that he had wanted to come out with a tray of pastries and ask Patera, "Want some, Sticky Buns? I mean, want some sticky buns?" but he ran it by Vince and was immediately told no.

I assumed it was just done for tv to make us wonder, but in reality it might have been nothing, but maybe there was something to it.
I have the "Ken Patera Story" on video and I thought it was a great comeback angle that we don't see much of in wrestling. I also noticed how Patera kept repeating himself over and over and it just didn't pan out.

Similar to the story about when Andre was the Giant Machine and Lanza was the Super Machine and Hogan was the Hulk Machine, Heenan told Vince they should put Jake Roberts in a mask and call him the "Coke Machine". In that Vince said no to that as well.

So besides Bobby Heenan, who else is a Bobby Heenan type?

I figured he used basic logic and said "wait a minute....how the heck am I to blame for you going to prison you idiot"
So they censored it to make Patera look better in the debate.

I've read that Heenan was reading from the actual sentencing memo in the case that was written by the judge, and he also mentioned the judge by name. They got cold feet about having that in there, and with the censoring, the whole thing seemed more scandalous anyway.
