This is freaky as f***. But I am unsure whether or not to believe it. This guy is incredibly convincing. It's easy to dismiss as just some guy playing a prank...but after a few minutes...the show is knocked off the air due to "satellite failure". Did someone or something not want this guy to be heard?
Also creepy: in the video, he says "the disasters are coming" and a couple minutes later something about "major population centers". The call was on September 11, 1997.
Your thoughts.

Seeing as it's 2 in the morning, there is absolutely NO WAY I'm watching that right now I've read about it, some people say it was staged by both the man and the radio station, but I've read people that believe it 100%. From what I've read it does sound really creepy, especially more-so if it's real.

I think it's bullcrap. I could be wrong but that's my first reaction. One of the biggest reasons why I don't believe it is due to it being in 1997 when The X-Files was really really popular and one of the top rated shows at the time.
I'm not a big fan of Art Bell. He had one caller talking about how she was a Satanists once and he was saying he believed her. I instantly knew right away she was full of crap when she talked about pentagrams being her religion's main symbols or something like that and it told me that Art Bell doesn't do his research very well. This was back in the late 90s before most people knew what pentagrams came from.
Another reason why I know she was full of crap was due to the fact that there isn't really a true satanist religion. The guy who wrote the satanic bible was an atheist and the whole religion was mostly just written to fool ignorant people and to scare them for fun.

Judging from the music when the backup system came back, I blame the Midnight Express.

But Fox Mulder and Frank Black stopped the Millennium group on New Years Eve.

Judging from the music when the backup system came back, I blame the Midnight Express. I was thinking the same thing, I was imagining that guy on the phone calling from on top of a scaffold, with Beautiful Bobby coming at him from one side and Sweet Stan from the other. I do have to say I am a skeptic on all conspiracy theories, which means that I'm sure this is all phony. If this guy was as worried about getting information out there, why wouldn't he contact a news organization rather than a late night conspiracy theory radio show?

The guy called back a few weeks later claiming it was fake. He even did the whole shtick again to prove it.

I don't need to hear the clip to know that it is garbage. This is Coast to Coast radio after all. It's so easy for people to fabricate stories about aliens and UFO's. I suggest everybody reads "Paranormality : Why we see what isn't there" to understand why it is that so many people believe that they have "paranormal" encounters.

It's BS. If the government/Military/Aliens/Robots/Whatever were actually so badass and knew everything about everything and everyone...why would they even allow a conspiracy show to air, let alone a "former employee" blow their secrets on air?
