Kinda knew it was coming, but it's still sad to hear. RIP to one of the greatest sax players of all time.

it's practically a state law to be a Springsteen/E Street Band fan. This one really hurts. RIP.

Sad. Guess that means I saw his last ever show in Philly a couple years back. Great player.
And how weird is it that his last performance was with Lady Gaga?

I'm actually in tears over this, I can't believe it. The invincible Big Man cannot die.
I'm gonnag go blast Jungleland out now I think.
R.I.P To the man who held my favourite musical act together and who narrated my favourite episode of the Simpsons.

The change was made in time, and the big man joined the heavens I'm so fortunate to have seen him in concert with Bruce three times, and while I knew the last tour was really rough on him, I really thought he was getting better. RIP Big Man

69 years old and even thought that's not young its too soon. He left behind 4 children. The soul of the E Street Band and the man who brought the sax into rock and roll.

[music nerd]Well, that last part isn't totally true, King Curtis was really the first big name to cross it over[/nerd] As a saxophonist who loves Bruce's music, today is doubly sad for me. I send thoughts out to his family and loved ones, and know that the Big Man is now part of the greatest band in Heaven. God Speed Clarence, and thank you for everything.

The local station played this a few days ago. I always liked this song.
Rest in peace, Big Man.

R.I.P. Big Man. So sad to hear. A man as big as Springsteen has a backing band with very recognizable names and faces and that's saying something. as they were all more than a backup band. and Clarence was the most recognizable. I'll feel more than a little sad this Christmas when I hear Bruce ask Clarence if he's gonna ask Santa for a new saxophone
