Why is Larry the Cable Guy in all of these kid-friendly films all of a sudden? His act is hardly family friendly, unless you think jokes about hookers = family entertainment. Because family movies/tv shows are certified cash cows, look at Bob Saget and George Carlin they did a lot of family stuff despite their adult centric stand up routines. If "Mr. Warmth" can be Mr. Potato Head, Larry can be the Tooth Fairy.

This thread alone is probably funnier than the film will be. Hell, this site is and all the remarks are often more humorous than a lot of "comedies" these days.

I guess his residual checks from the Cars series must have finally ran dry. Impossible. Cars 2 just came out.

I'm seriously hoping R-Truth gets the lead in the next film. I seriously want to see "The Tooth Fairy 3: The Truth Fairy". "Little Jimmy! I came for your teef!" Because family movies/tv shows are certified cash cows, look at Bob Saget and George Carlin they did a lot of family stuff despite their adult centric stand up routines. If "Mr. Warmth" can be Mr. Potato Head, Larry can be the Tooth Fairy. Patton Oswalt was Remy in "Ratatouille". That's pretty insane if you think about it.

I`ll refrain from doing the obvious Half-Baked joke. As for the movie itself, did the first one did any good to warrant a sequel? even a straigtht to DVD sequel?

This honestly sounds like the worst movie ever.

I have mixed feelings about the guy. I appreciate that he's a good guy that has done a TON for charity and is a big supporter of the husker program, but I'm meh on his comedy and wish he'd drop the character/accent and just be Dan Whitney when interviewed at husker games. People are stupid, they don't realize it's just a gimmick or that said gimmick was based on guys he met down south when he moved there for college. Folks stereotype Nebraska as-is, we don't need to add drawling redneck to the stereotype-mix

He's matured in a way. (That CMT special on "10 years of Blue Collar Comedy" was pretty interesting.)
