I'll admit I'm not a hockey fan, and have stepped foot in a hockey thread maybe three times in the entirety of my forum membership, but the title of this thread begged for me to do this.

1-1 in the middle of the second. And it seems the B's are getting all the momentum heading in their direction. (side note: This second period so far has been awesome)

And that's the end of that chapter. B's top it off with a goal by Rich Peverley.

GO TAMPA! TAKE IT TO GAME SEVEN Anything is possible. Thomas stole this game. But then who knows what will happen in the next one. I'd love it to go seven just for the entertainment value of this series. It was nice to see a game where people weren't tossed out of the face-off circle a hundred times a period.

daaaaamn, Tim Thomas. That is mad goalie skill. Sometimes I think he has spider-sense. Some saves he makes are ones he has no business making yet somehow does it. And to think a lot of people in Boston wanted him shipped off last year. Not knocking them since everyone and his brother wanted Price shipped off last year as well.

Rask was a beast last year, and clearly, nobody realized just how injured Thomas was. I dont think anyone other than Thomas himself could have predicted he would have a year like this though. He's been in 'f*** you' mode all season

He's been in 'f*** you' mode all season Like I said before, if the Bruins do win the Cup I will be really happy for Thomas. Bruins fans better start signing their apology cards if he does take you guys all the way. BTW - snark time - I was so amazed to see that the Bruins had a little uh...."embellishment problem" with some guy named Marchand. There was also some dude named "Charu" or something fell pretty easily too. Least we know the Bruins aren't divers eh? Yep, thankfully it's only the Habs that do it.

Win or lose, I think Thomas should win the Vezina. Unless he did already when he was a rookie, I forget. Give him a few more years and he'll hopefully overcome his Price-style obstacles and, hell, he could become the next Brodeur. (In his prime of course.)

Considering the record he had this year he should be a lock. This being the NHL though, god only knows if he'll get it. He's already won it. Can you believe we actually drafted him way back when?
