What videogames or videogame series nails parkour/freerunning the best? (i.e., which is the most fun?)
I'm playing Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, and while I initially felt it paled in comparison to the Assassin's Creed series in terms of challenging parkour stunts, it seriously has some of the most insane runs you'll ever have to accomplish in a videogame. I still like the AC control mechanic better, but the stunts here nail the sheer fun of parkour when it's not you doing it yourself in a live environment and risking breaking your face wide open like a Cadbury cream egg.
So what's the best game/game series to integrate parkour into its gameplay mechanics?
Tomb Raider? Uncharted? Mirror's Edge? Assassin's Creed? Prince of Persia? Something I'm not thinking of because my range is limited?
Have at it, folks.

Believe it or not, it's present in the PS3 and 360 versions of Tron Evolution.

This will be unpopular... but the Prince of Persia reboot that got crapped on by fans of the Sands of Time trilogy. I'm really enjoying it, dunno why all the hate.

Mirrors Edge by a long way.
I really hope a sequel of that game gets made at some point.

Mirror's Edge is good until you get to actual combat. That part of the game is a little off. Plus sometimes, even with the red "guide" it's not always obvious where to go and it can ruin the flow a little bit, which is the big draw of the game. When it's flowing and you're hitting everything in rhythm it's awesome, which makes it worse when something breaks that rhythm.

Infamous has good parkour, but its nothing amazing really. I don't really consider it parkour in the game. Usually, it's just him slowly and magnetically climbing over stuff. There's no real finesse in the way he does it. This will be unpopular... but the Prince of Persia reboot that got crapped on by fans of the Sands of Time trilogy. I'm really enjoying it, dunno why all the hate. I liked it too. It was minimalistic in terms of characters and story, instead going for a very small cast and simple story, but I think it worked. I loved the look of the game, and the gameplay, while a bit simplified, was surprisingly fun.

definitely assassins creed. Nothing better than running around and jumping from rooftop to rooftop in Venice or Acre.

From the definition of parkour, I'm going to go with Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

The running engine itself isn't great, but you can do some cool semi-Parkour stuff in GTA4.

The running engine itself isn't great, but you can do some cool semi-Parkour stuff in GTA4. In the same vein, you can in Red Dead Redemption if you can figure out certain spots. Some areas, such as the roof of Las Hermanas have your character think he's going to die and prematurely rag doll, and if you hit anything on the way down, like another roof top you take no damage. It's great to do in Blackwater.

You can pull some crazy stunts in the Super Mario Galaxy games thanks to the gravity mechanics.

You can pull some crazy stunts in the Super Mario Galaxy games thanks to the gravity mechanics. That's what I was just about to post. Nothing beats the crazy jumping tactics you can do in the 3d Mario games.

If you've played it, Osman/Cannon Dancer by Mitchell allowed for some pretty crazy stunts if you mastered the mechanics.
Then there's this:
