Damn. Not that I expected any other result, but still...I could hope, couldn't I? Congrats to Dupoe and ViVA.

Grats Jono!
And might I just say, that tag match was awesome. Were that a real live match I'm pretty sure it would have stolen the show.

....Interesting side note....It was originally supposed to be the GHOST of Don Pardo (Creepier and all)......A quick check of Wa-Wd.com (My second most frequently checked "Wait are they dead?" site) informed me I almost "killed" Don Pardo. The old plugger's still going strong at 94

Seriously well written, and made Jason Allen come off as a star. I also really, REALLY like that the two vets were out early, giving Dupoe and Brainbustah time to shine. Brainbustah, I think you may have had a better chance if a) you and colt were a real tag team, and b) colt wasn't so inactive. As it stands, it makes little sense for you guys to take the titles from us. That... was a hell of a lot of fun, though. Good card, guys. Real good card. Oh, and congrats JoNo.

Aww, no love for the Odinson? But still, yes a good show all the same.

First page is updated with new WWCF champion, all defenses listed, and moving Tyfo to Inactive. Plus my profile is going to be updated soon. Time for another overhaul I do think.

1. Between this and Gookermania, I think we're on a roll. 2. As a guy who reads Shadow and Doc Savage pulp reprints, I liked your pick Connor. 3. I voted Zombie Grimace quite highly exactly because I hoped for that reference, M. 4. I loved the match stips. I hope it becomes another NotWZ tradition. 5. I'm glad that the Tag Team Title match was received so well. 6. Congrats to ask and especially to JoNo - you finally made it. 7. Having the Pumpkin King host the show was a good idea. Now he just needs to wrestle... I think that about covers everything for now.

Aww, no love for the Odinson? But still, yes a good show all the same. I loved the interplay of the gimmicks, especially the Brain pointing out the silliness of the rubber hammer, even though it was sold as a legit hammer mere moments before. I found the match to be vaguely Pythonesque.

I think I may do the Masquerade Battle Royal every year because for me, it is very fun to think of what you think would be great for your character to wrestle as. I think more people should do it.

I would have participated if not for my character hiatus. Of course, I main evented last year, but the year before that I nearly won as Fat Freddy Krueger. And if I have that kind of humor to look forward to, be my guest.

My only complaint was that I probably could have given the General a little more offense than I did.

Every year, I think the battle royal gets a little easier to write. Let's face it, it's a comedy match by nature, even if the prize is legit. I also feel the commentary sold it last year. Socko did a great job covering for my fat, lazy ass, but it wasn't the same, because I had ideas, just no time to get them in there.

Congrats to Jono - I thought you deserved the win and enjoyed reading the match - so it was very well written.
Congrats to the VIVA boys too - I shall have to win a title won't I to make sure I'm not letting the side down? ;-)

Still haven't heard from Viva re. whether he's giving up his half of the tag titles and challenging for the world title or not, and I also haven't heard from Whitey or Colt about their intentions. So I guess I'll wait another week, and if nobody's decided to challenge for it by then I'll set up a #1 contender's match.
In the meantime we've got Aaron challenging Richlen and I've decided that the Pumpkin King will get a shot at the tag titles with a partner of his choice, since things are heating up between him and Dupoe.
As for next week's NiteRaw:
Michaels & Enigma vs. Drakin & Richlen Being written by Aaron Enigma
Evil M vs. Punisher Being written by Punisher
Vincent Van Agony vs. General Being written by BRB
Pumpkin King vs. Jeremy Dupoe Being written by Dupoe
Brainbuster vs. Amigo Being written by Connor

The little thing in the promo thread by ViVa sounded like he was going to address it.
