Still haven't heard from Viva re. whether he's giving up his half of the tag titles and challenging for the world title or not, and I also haven't heard from Whitey or Colt about their intentions. So I guess I'll wait another week, and if nobody's decided to challenge for it by then I'll set up a #1 contender's match. In the meantime we've got Aaron challenging Richlen and I've decided that the Pumpkin King will get a shot at the tag titles with a partner of his choice, since things are heating up between him and Dupoe. As for next week's NiteRaw: Michaels & Enigma vs. Drakin & RichlenEvil M vs. PunisherVincent Van Agony vs. GeneralPumpkin King vs. Jeremy DupoeBrainbuster vs. AmigoHm... I'm not sure what to pick. Anyone kind making my mind up for me this time?

I'm not giving up my half of the tag titles to go after the World Title, at least, I don't think I am. I don't even want that right now. I want to start a monster feud with Gus. I'm giving up my half of the tag belts to someone else in Viva Inc.

Great show everyone. Thanks to Socko for doing the rest of the commentary on the Poffo/The Sam match. Dissapointed that NOT The Sam didn't win the battle royale. I was interested to see who it was.
Anyway, great show. Can't wait to see the fallout on Niteraw.

On the subject of faces and heels - being as my character is based on a comic character, I find it easier to write as a face, as if I'm protecting the innocent etc, but some of his actions are so reprehensible in context that it's better suited to being a heel. I can write heel promos, but somehow it's easier for me to write being a face.

I usually don't have an issue meeting the deadline. I tend to write the match Saturday and do the commentary and entrances and whatnot on Sunday lol.

Sorry I haven't posted anything since sending out the voting; I haven't been feeling too well for the last couple of days. Anyway, I'm about to tally up the results and send 'em out now, as well as finally editing the post with the card to show who's writing what at a glance.
EDIT: By the way, looking at the previous discussion about faces, heels, and anti-heroes/tweeners, here are my thoughts...
Booking 101 says that a reliable way to make the fans turn on a wrestler is to have him go after one of the most popular faces in the company and have him attempt to justify it by blowing a minor slight out of proportion. That seems to be what Seth's doing.
As for Amigo turning face, another thing to remember is that for ages wrestling promoters have seemed to assume that fans have short memories, for better or worse. I've used this as an example before, but it bears repeating here: after all the stuff he did with the Ministry of Darkness, if Taker can turn face then anybody can. Oh, not to mention that he allegedly did kill his parents and, if you want an example of something Russo had no hand in writing, attempted to kill Paul Bearer.
When I first began watching wrestling, it was in the middle of the first Taker/Mankind feud where Mankind was the heel and Taker was the face. I remember my reaction when Mankind finally turned face and saved somebody, and the whole crowd popped for it. I was like "Why are they cheering for him? Don't they remember what he did?" But that's just part of wrestling.
So usually when somebody claims to have turned over a new leaf--or if they don't even apologize but start doing good things instead of bad--that's enough for fans to cheer 'em instead of boo.
