Did it really do any damage though? Wasn't it one of the best selling songs on iTunes for a time? If anything this song might not be bad enough because I'm fairly certain 90% of the people who made Friday a best seller were downloading it ironically, which is really baffling to me. People talk about Friday with such venom and yet pay for it anyways. "Ugh, this song is the WORST! I can't stand it! Where do I buy it!?" Don't get me wrong Friday is awful, but it's no better or worse than the megatons of artificial crap that's on pop radio these days. The Room has sold extremely well on DVD too, yknow. That sort of thing has happened quite a few times. I agree. Who doesn't have a DVD of Plan 9 from Outer Space in their collection.

A song that sounds like all the other current pop songs sound. God forbid she try to be original in this day and age. This is paint by numbers crap. Just what in today's music age would qualify as "original"?

It's better then Friday. However the sad thing is Rebecca can even evolve to the next Michael Jackson. The shadow of Friday will always be on her.

In fact I never purchase something due to it being terrible. I can understand it with DVDs at least though -why anyone would pay money to see a novelty that you can (or could anyway) pull up on Youtube is beyond me.

Perfectly decent pop song. Unfortunately though people will see the name "Rebecca Black", won't listen to it with an open mind, and it'll have 3 billion dislikes by the end of the week. To be fair, when you do a song like "Friday", you kind of deserve it. That being said, part of me wants her to succeed simply because it would be one of the biggest comeback stories EVER.

Becca, you have to go for the A or the F. Nobody remembers a C. My train of thought. It's certainly not horrid, but it's not great... or even really good. It's just sort of OK-slash-forgettable.

If there is anyone in pop music I'm rooting for, it's this kid. She's been **** on by god knows how many people for singing the "worst song ever", and taken it totally in stride. Most girls her age sob uncontrollably if a boy they like doesn't like them back.

This joins Nas' "Hate me Now" on the list of "haters gonna hate" songs.

For all the flak that Friday got, there was an innocence about it that was a welcome change from the blatantly commercial fluff that passes for music these days.
Friday looked like a song where Rebecca was goofing around. This song is meh.. Too self aware and SRS.
I maybe the only person on the planet who did not find it to be the worst song in history. I find Black Eyed Peas to be more Hall of Shame worthy when it comes to awful songs..

Jesus f***ing Christ, seriously? She's like what, 12? I agree with noleafclover, where the hell are her parents? Probably trying to live out their failed dreams through their kid, making her act like a slut to get attention

Just to let you guys know about Jenna Rose, Her father is the one who get her involved in these ( I saw an interview with them). If anything he should get the blame. Jenna really has the talent, but she is just using them the wrong way.
