Based on... The Happening! Or at least the idea of that movie; not the plants, just the whole people start killing themselves bit.
A group of survivors immune to the suicides. Sudden appearance of eldritch abominations. The end of life, the universe, and everything else!
Okay, I need to sleep. Once I have good rest and weird dreams I'll continue what I'm thinking of.

Not the same as a video game but I remember my friend made a game of this nature on RPG Maker XP many moons back. It's a really good idea, it's almost like Stephen King's Cell but with the entire death of the planet/Universe involved (not surprised to see Cthulhu in your username after reading that) it just brings it to a greater level...
I'd buy it. I've invested enough time in Arkham Horror boardgames so I need someone to make it digital!

Gremlins: You're a character living in Kingston falls when Billy Peltzer accidently unleashes the Gremlins on the town. You run from your house to various other locations as the Gremlins chase you and take over. As well as fighting them off, you also have to avoid "accidents" they cause. While I guess some comedy could be involved, this would show the more horrific side of the movie.

Make a game based on the Weeping Angels from Dr Who.
No other enemies. Just you in a house with them.

Make a game based on the Weeping Angels from Dr Who. No other enemies. Just you in a house with them. That is the perfect game for the casual gamer. First it's near impossible to die, you either go back in time or regenerate. Secondly many find it hard to face the right direction often spending much of their time looking at the floor, rather than just getting shot in the head they'd see the angel get closer and closer until they either worked it out or died. Weeping angels *clap clap clap-clap-clap*

I don't want to see the horrific side of Gremlins - that's like a game where you play as the Fratellis, and kill some cops.
