Ok, if this thread needs to be moved, so be it, but here's what I recently noticed on TV.
Whenever the Phoenix Suns do something well (like go on a run, dunk on someone, etc.), some of their players (Shawn Marion in particular) will do Cena's "You Can't See Me" gesture. At first I thought it was coincidental, but last night when they played the Lakers and LA had to call a timeout cause the Suns were dominating, Marion did the Cena gesture while heading towards the bench and you could read his lips saying "You can't see me"
I'm pretty sure he's not the only one I've seen doing it, so my questions are these:
1) has anyone else noticed this? 2) has anyone seen other athletes use that gesture in the midst of celebration?

I remember about 4 years ago when Levon Kirkland played for the Eagles, and after a sack he did the Booker T "stare at hand" thing.
A lot of pro athletes are wrestling fans, so I'm sure it happens a lot more than we either notice or see.
Plus, when Marion did it it actually made sense, since he was standing right in front of their bench and they didn't see him. Plus, honestly, its a pretty cool gesture, just not when Cena does it.

Yeah, and before Kirkland, Herschel Walker did the Diamond Cutter after scoring a touchdown.

Yeah, and before Kirkland, Herschel Walker did the Diamond Cutter after scoring a touchdown. So is Cena going to sue?

Yeah, and before Kirkland, Herschel Walker did the Diamond Cutter after scoring a touchdown. I heard once at a Utah Jazz game, Karl Malone spotted DDP in the stands, and gave him a diamond cutter taunt. Of course, that led to Malone tagging with DDP, so maybe we'll get a Cena/Marion vs. Triple H/Dirk Nowinski match

I asked Anquan Boldin where he got it from and he said it was from a rapper.

Oh yeah, you're right. Mr. Thomas has come a long way from being with the Knicks.
Now I'm torn, though. I want the Suns to win Game 7, but I have this Triple H-esque love/hate for Kobe (hate the man off the court/ring, love it when he's on the court/in the ring). Plus, based on the officiating (and the media), you can easily tell who ABC wants in the Finals.
I guess Kobe is the Triple H of the NBA.
