(little preperation needed for that one)
Go on YouTube and open up Chris Benoit's WWE Theme Song "Whatever".
describe in one word how you feel during the Opening Chords of that Song.
I'll go first:
nauseous

As a huge OLP fan, I really loved that theme. It even made it on to their live album.
That being said, the first thing that comes to mind now is probably disappointment

Awesome.
His theme was a classic wrestling theme, especially when it soared into the "WHATEVER YOU NEED, EVER YOU GOT" part.
His theme is also not connected to his death at all. Ive made peace with what Benoit did, it's been 4 years this summer. What he did was horrible and despicable, but it was also the result of abhorrent brain trauma, and something that did not directly affect me as a person due to having no relation to any of those involved.
I also dont work for the WWE so I have no reason to hide his image to protect the company's image. And it serves me no greater good to avoid his matches or pretend that he never existed, or to carry the weight of stress that those close to the Benoit family have experienced since that fateful day.

Creepy.
Seriously, almost EVERYTHING about this guy is insanely creepy in retrospect, his titantron, his music, his look, his nicknames, his finishers.
Which makes me a little bit worried that I also agree that its all awesome to me.

Yeah.
Now, when I watch his demeanor in the ring its almost like I'm seeing part of the side of him that did what he did. He always had something different about him, almost like a profound depression that loomed around him and manifested itself in supreme intensity and skill. He was always dark, without having to go out of the way to do so.

Love this song.
I remember going to an indy show a while back, and you know how some indy guys pinch things from more famous wrestlers?
Well...someone actually used this for their entrance. I marked a little at first...then I became very sad.

Awesome. His theme was a classic wrestling theme, especially when it soared into the "WHATEVER YOU NEED, EVER YOU GOT" part. My sentiments exactly. Benoit's song is in my top 10 list of favourite wrestling themes.
