I don't think anyone is saying it wasn't wrong that he cheated on his wife. It is, but it's nowhere near as heinous as people wanting to have sex with teenagers. But the thing is, one doesn't have anything to DO with the other. The fact that there are people out there that want to have sex with teenagers has no bearing on Chris Hansen being a gigantic douche for cheating on his wife. So using that to excuse his behavior or say "Well, it wasn't as bad as...." rings hollow to me. But people are celebrating the fact that he got caught like it's some comeuppance to him putting out a show catching sex predators. |

Again, in my view, fact one(that being that he cheated on his wife) has nothing to do with fact two(that being that he hosted To Catch a Predator). I just see this as a smug, overbearing jerk getting brought down to earth a little bit. |

I think the circumstances surrounding it, with him being caught by hidden cameras is a funny way given the way the show worked. |

I remember when the tabloids set up Frank Gifford when he cheated on Kathy Lee and they are still together so maybe theres hope for that douche Chris Hansen and his wife.
