It's because Dusty spends 30 seconds "jukin' and jivin' " (there's a Jesse Ventura-ism for you, although he's usually referring to Junkyard Dog) with the hands spinning, the "suck this" crotch gesture, then finally he grabs the guy's head and might butt him with the elbow.) Did Dusty ever do the crotch gesture? I thought that was just something Bubba Ray added on when he started doing the Bionic Elbow. I seen him do it on a few occasions, which is why Goldust started doing it when he turned face in 1996-97.

Justin Credible used to do this awful moved where his opponent would be sitting by the turnbuckles, he'd grab their legs, they'd grab the 2nd rope and he would then execute the weakest looking powerbomb of all time with his foe falling all of 2 feet to the mat. I actually liked that move, but I agree that it could've been better. Maybe if he caught him and got him in the position right before you powerbomb someone where they're on the person's shoulders and then dropped him. Or caught him and did a quick spin out and dropped. The idea is good, just his execution wasn't much.

I think you guys are confusing the Bionic Elbow with Flip, Flop 'n' Fly. As for me it's not so much a wrestling move but the Skin the Cat irritates the shit out of me.

No one ever knows what I'm talking about when I mention this move, but I want to call it maybe the Screwdriver? I can't remember the name.
It's a move I swear I've seen done by Rey Mysterio, Ultimo Dragon and a few others. Basically the set up is this: Wrestler A is in a standing position and has Wrester B's ankles around his neck and is holding onto them. Wrestler B has his head/shoulders on the ground...it almost looks like Wrestler A is trying to help him do a hand stand or something. Wrestler B then twists his waist a whole bunch, and Wrestler A goes flying like he'd been punched by the Incredible Hulk and Superman combined. The move makes it appear that Wrestler B threw Wrestler A with ankle strength alone!
If anyone knows this move...it is by far the worst move ever. I'll buy the People's Elbow or the Worm for sheer silliness factor...you know they aren't actually supposed to be moves taken seriously, but this stupid as spinning move is so fake and unbelievable, I can't stand it!

It's done way too much, takes forever, and I don't get why people rarely interrupt it. Especially stupid is when someone does it outside of a rumble or battle royal. Way to expend all of your energy, I hope you have fun easily losing now.

I agree, it is dumb as hell.

MVP's "Playmaker" was a move I just couldn't take seriously as an actual finisher. This. I'm glad I didn't have to be the first person to say it. Seems like that was someone else's finisher first, and that it was called "The Overdrive" at some point... but it has always been, like, the worst move ever in my book. I've seen it a million times, and other than the tiniest of back bumps, I can't see how it's possible to think that move would ever hurt someone. To whoever invented that move: "You are awful... just awful."

Christian's diving reverse DDT always looked awesome, and was never a finisher.

I didn't watch the video above but screw El Hijo Del Santo for using that stupid move. I haven't seen this one mentioned yet. I don't think it has a name, but I call it the "Leg DDT". I've seen it used in a few matches where the person is trying to work the legs. Basically the wrestler picks up the opponents leg like they're going to go for a Single Leg Crab but instead they just fall back, slamming the wrestlers foot into the mat. I fail to see how that could possibly hurt.

Though the version here, where they maintain the hold as a choke, admittedly looks very cool and is a little more plausible.

Not when its Dusty throwing it. The worst of it was when the Four Horsemen were all lined up and, one-by-one, Dusty would hit them with weak-looking elbows and they'd drop like they were hit with an atomic blast. Edit: Can't believe I forgot about the Worm. One of the biggest pops I ever heard was at a house show (4-way Cruiserweight title match) and Scotty set up the Worm, did the W! O! R! M! Then, slither, got up to set up the chop (hoo, hoo, hoo!) and got blasted and pinned right away. Oh man that place went ape-crap! The Bionic Elbow was awesome. Pistols at dawn, my good sir.

It also inexplicably became known as the Unprettier too during that time.
