That being said, I really, really hope Shogun pulls it off.

Mr T L Wolf
Hank Scorpio
He has the looks of Andre the Giant, and the strength of Barry Windham. Not to mention he's a hero to a few armadillos, a kangaroo and a small herd of bison.

....It looked like he damn near hit the back of his head with that knockout.
With that said, nice show by Schaub.

So much for the shogun era.
Bones is a freak of nature.

Jones is for real. I wonder how much will be said about the long time between Shogun's last fight and the brief time between Jones's last fight.

That was weird, but impressive. Granted, this has been the story in the LHW division for quite some time. Champion wins is dominant fashion and gets annihilated in their first defense (or in the case of Machida, both defenses).

Can I just say, that, as good as tonight's card was in my opinion, I am in no way excited for UFC 129. I dunno why, I was pumped up for 128, I guess on the basis of getting a chance to see Jones make himself a legit star, but for some reason, 129's just falling flat to me. I know it's probably not the place to mutter about it, but still....

You've got arguably two of the top 3 pound for pound fighters in Aldo and GSP fighting, along with Couture v Machida. Plus, the crowd should be awesome and on fire, 50,000 strong. A dead crowd can make good fights seem dull, but hot crowds add an extra layer of excitement to me. Cant wait

Looking forward to Jones kicking Rashad's ass in the near future.
Also of note, Dana said in the post fight press conference that Cro Cop is likely done in the UFC.

That video alone has me pumped for the next PPV, plus I can't wait to see how UFC's first stadium show looks
