Jake "The Snake" Roberts will be having his Retirement Match at Wrestle Reunion Jan 29th in Los Angeles against none other than Sinn Bodhi/Kizarny!
They seriously couldn't get someone else to wrestle Jake for his last match ever? DDP? Honky? Iron Shiek? I can think of at least 500 wrestlers I'd rather see Jake square off against for his curtain call. But I understand they're buds and he trusts him in the ring so be it.
And for those curious, this came from Sinn's twitter page.

According to "rumors", Kizarny happened to had been trained by Jake The Snake at one time.

Didn't Snake have a retirement match not too long ago? I could have swore that he had a retirement match at an Indy show, and it was advertised as such.

Snake sees Bhodi as his protege, so he wants to give his last match rub to him

What kind of shape is he in these days? He looked godawful in beyond the matt, and that was about 13 years ago.

Meh, he'll have a comeback when he needs some money, and then announce another retirement match when he wants a big payday.

He'll only be retired until his next comeback.

As far as i know, his supposed retirement was at 22.8.2010 in a match against Zachary Springate III (2CW Live or Die was the show) 3 months lather he wrestled for NWA Birmingham (The show was called The Big Bang (very clever)) in Alabama: Brickhouse Brown, Brutus Beefacke & Jake Roberts vs. Buddy Landel, Cameron Valentine & Greg Valentine. So it's his second retirement after returning once from retirement already

Apparently Stacy Carter (aka the Kat aka Sinnzarny's wife) is doing bikini photos.
I'd be WAY more interested in that as she was my first HUGE crush. ;D

I really could care less if Jake is retiring. To tell you truth, what he was and what he is in the ring really doesn't make his retirement anything special. With someone like Shawn Michaels, retirement is a big deal because he's been on top of his game till the very end, same thing with Flair and Foley and other people. Jake hasn't been on the top of his game for over 15 years. I'd be more happy to know that he finally got his dream job of being a booker in the WWE. I hope he can get himself straight one day and finally be able to do that.

Jake never gets respect but he definitely deserves. He was one of the best if not thee best heel arguably and one of the most over faces and arguably the greatest mic worker that WWE ever had. Jake didn't play the political like Flair and others to stick around in the WWE. Yes he had his demons. But would Flair of got the send off he did if wasn't friends with guys in the right places in the company? If Austin never got one, or Hogan never got one or Rock never got one, why does Flair deserve one? His best days were NWA not WWE

His best days were NWA not WWE I mean as far as being able to put on the types of shows that used to back in the day. Flair even as old as we was, still pulled an excellent match with Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania. I'm not knocking Roberts at all. He's one of my favorite wrestlers, but he's gone the way of the retired veteran working indy shows to make ends meet. It's never a good place for anyone to be in. Like I said, I just hope that he can one day be a booker for WWE and finally do what he was told would be given to him when Patterson stepped down back in 92.

Just sucks that the guy had greatness in him but between his personal demons and being in a brutal business it just didn't happen.
