So, have we confirmed it's him yet? And if so, has he been arrested?

The wags at the CZWfans message board seem pretty convinced that Gage was involved. I really hope that is not so.

When asked for comment, Hulk Hogan reportedly said, "F*** Nick Gage! I'm so glad that s*** happened to that motherf***er."

This sounds like it's going to turn out to be an unfortunate situation for another "one of our own" so to speak.
So if it is in fact Nick Gage, why hasnt' he been arrested? Obviously people can identify him.

CZW STAR SOUGHT IN NEW JERSEY BANK ROBBERY by Mike Johnson @ 12:01 PM on 12/30/2010
"Hardcore" Nick Gage, real name Nick Wilson, is being sought by New Jersey authorities after surveillance cameras caught Gage leaving a Collingswood, New Jersey PNC Bnk on 12/22 after he allegedly handed a female bank teller a note demanding money under the threat of shooting her with a gun. Gage allegedly escaped on foot with $3,000.
Gage, 30, a regular with Combat Zone Wrestling since its inception, lost the promotion's Ultraviolent Underground championship to Big Japan's Yuko Miyamoto on 12/13 at the promotion's Cage of Death in Philadelphia. He's easily the most popular performer in the company based on crowd reactions and has competed in just about every major event in CZW history.
Gage's alleged involvement in the heist was well known within the local wrestling community in the last week after the local media displayed the bank surveillance photo that captured his face as he exited the bank.

I hope it ain't so.
Someone on the CZWfans board speculated that Gage may have stolen the money to pay off the cost of flying out to Japan and Germany for the shows that CZW recently did there.
Since pro wrestlers (especially indy wrestlers) are 'independent contractors,' couldn't Gage have written off the cost of the plane tickets as a business expense come tax time?

Saying people pushed him too hard while he was injured, and he really messed his system up. A lot of people have tried to help him clean up, but it sounds like those people got fed up with him.

CZW trying to cut all ties to Gage. Don't blame them.
And what type of fan would imitate robbing bank because Nick Gage did?

If Gage is in fact the one who robbed a bank and he did it to afford a drug habit, that's terrible, because he's going down the path that one of his comrades - JC Bailey - did. I admire Nick Gage as a wrestler. He is one of the most loyal and dedicated wrestlers in the history of the business, but he really should have taken time off after the injury he took at TOD8 - maybe waiting until COD to build anticipation for a rematch with Thumbtack Jack.

No offense man, but Gage's problem isn't mainly drugs, it's the fact that he is one concussion away from being a vegetable, and possibly already at the Benoit level of diminished mental capacity. Moreover, TJ's neck/back injury has forced him to retire from wrestling altogether, the man can't even walk at a normal pace, let alone compete at a COD. Sadly, Gage should have hung it up a few years ago. I had hoped that he would get serious help before he ruined his life, or the lives of others, but it looks like it's too late.

I was referring to 2009's Cage of Death show, not 2010's. Gage would have had several months to recover between TOD8 and COD in 2009. TJ's injury only occurred fairly recently (October 2010). Anyway, there's still hope that Gage did not commit a robbery. I am worried for his sake - not because I pity a bank (which steals from the public in the form of government-authorized bailouts), but because of the sentence Gage may face (not to mention the possibility those drug / dementia factors already discussed).
