TJ's neck/back injury has forced him to retire from wrestling altogether, the man can't even walk at a normal pace, let alone compete at a COD. I was referring to 2009's Cage of Death show, not 2010's. Gage would have had several months to recover between TOD8 and COD in 2009. TJ's injury only occurred fairly recently (October 2010). Anyway, there's still hope that Gage did not commit a robbery. I am worried for his sake - not because I pity a bank (which steals from the public in the form of government-authorized bailouts), but because of the sentence Gage may face (not to mention the possibility those drug / dementia factors already discussed). He will most likely get big jail time if it really was him. That is a lot of cash and local governments do not take kindly at all to bank robbers. He could get somewhere around 5 to 20 years depending on whether he has been arrested before.

I hope it ain't so. Someone on the CZWfans board speculated that Gage may have stolen the money to pay off the cost of flying out to Japan and Germany for the shows that CZW recently did there. Since pro wrestlers (especially indy wrestlers) are 'independent contractors,' couldn't Gage have written off the cost of the plane tickets as a business expense come tax time? Definitely wasn't because of the Germany trip, Deej flew the 5-6 workers out there that made the trip. Plus he told fans that it'd only be like $600-800 for the trip, because he invited them to tag along. It was drugs. He's got a coke habit.

I don't know who Nick Gage is, and I'm not inclined to feel much sympathy.
I will find it pretty funny if it turns out the IWC helped solve a crime though.

NICK GAGE UPDATE by Mike Johnsn @ 6:40 PM on 12/31/2010
Numerous sources sent word that CZW star Nick Gage has turned himself in to New Jersey authorities in conjunction with his alleged robbery of a PNC bank earlier this month in Collingswood, NJ.

He could use the defense, "I`m a wrestler! It`s all fake anyway."

The FBI is the agency that investigates most bank robberies (any bank insured by FDIC), and they're all federal offenses. Yeah, possibly between 5 to 20 years in the federal pen.

CZW trying to cut all ties to Gage. Don't blame them. And what type of fan would imitate robbing bank because Nick Gage did? CZW fans might. Ever seen most of them? (I'm joking, for the record.)

Only question now is..if DJ Hyde can afford to do so, would he be willing to post whatever Gage's bail may be if he'd be able to get out by Saturday Night's show?

Hopefully he surrendered himself to clear his name, but if that really IS him, then yeah, he certainly should serve time.

Probably gets a lighter sentence based on turning himself in.

I can't believe it. The IWC did something for the better of the community?

Come out clean and don't die 6 months later.
Don't need another JC Bailey situation.

Kinda shocked he is basically admitting to it but, I guess there was little doubt given the photos.
