Twin Towers. Never got a tag titles reign. THey were my favorites. Two huge guys who worked well as a team. They should have stayed together longer.

Not sure if they qualify for this thread but I was a big fan of the Holly's, which is weird because I usually find Bob really boring, but stick him with Crash and give them a scale and they become very entertaining. This. Crash's manic luncay combined with Bob's grumpyness just made this work. I loved their work. Also, Taz and Sabu.

Randy Savage and Lanny Poffo Lex Luger and Barry Windham (IIRC they were called the Twin Towers sometimes) Ken Patera and Jerry Blackwell (This was when they were part of the Sheik's Army in the AWA) The team of Boris Zukhov and Nord the Barbarian were personal favorites of mine in the mid-80's AWA.

Jake Roberts and the Barbarian (Nord, not Konga/Sione) from Mid-South was another favorite of mine.
They didn't last long as a team, but one of my earliest memories was Kamala and Kareem Muhammad (billed as the Zambuie Express at the time, even though he was just part of that tag team elsewhere) in Mid-South as well.
The Hardliners (Slater & Murdoch)
