I love how Vince has to explain his carny wrestling talk to the investors.
Vince: This Justin Gabriel kid has talent, so we're going to push him. Investor: Why? That's mean!

Ok....this seems like 1 of 3 possibilities
1. It's basically a Studio for shooting various vignettes and Non-Wrestling related stuff, but still for the existing Programming
2. It's going to be the WWE's version of the "Impact Zone". TNA does exactly 1 thing right from a business perspective (at least when it comes to saving money)....it's Main televised show is from a centralized location. This keeps travel costs for it's talent down. Though the fact that there's nothing coming in from the Gate hurts them, but that's another story. If WWE wanted to create a specific venue where their NON-PPVs could be shot, took money at the gate, basically ran it like a tourist attraction centered on WWE it could be brilliant. Essentially imagine that WWE No longer has to pay to book large arenas beyond Pay Per Views.....not relying on whatever equipment is there to do the production.....Imagine if you will that EVERYTHING is under the banner of WWE, sure there would be issues as far as people not going to live events because it's too far to go to this hypothetical WWE Center...but that would make house shows seem "Bigger" and possibly mean increased revenue for PPVs because you could have Arenas BID on who gets what and when....especially since WWE draws large crowds.
3. It's to shoot the proposed Networks "Other" programming.....McMahon owned and produced sitcoms.

I never understood why WWE never had their own "command center" television studio. There are so many different things you can film there.

The First thing that came into my mind was Vince's head in a giant tube Ala Zordon, commanding Johnny Ace (Alpha) to get him "5 FCW Rookies with Attitude!"

That was likely the original idea for the Nexus. If I knew it was going to become just another group of henchman + Punk, I would have preferred the Nexus Rangers.

Can I hope this is the return of the Event Center, complete with Craig DeGeorge and/or Sean Mooney?

As much as people hate working there, I will be interested in what they're going to be hiring for.
