In my mind, there is no comparing these two men. They both have unique skills that work very well with their opponents, and IMO, title belts don't mean a damn thing.

With all due respect to Eddie, I'd say Rey was always the bigger star, as far back as WCW.

With all due respect to Eddie, I'd say Rey was always the bigger star, as far back as WCW. Yeah, in he eyes of most casual fans, Rey seems to be the bigger deal. In the internet's eyes, they were probably pretty close until Rey started fighting the big boys.

Rey may achieve more when it comes to titles, royal rumbles, etc. but I he will never be as entertaining as a performer as Eddie was.
Also, Rey will never be able to play a heel character, so he's kinda one dimensional to me.

Why did you put 1 time WCW US Champion for Eddie twice?

Ric Flair said the only reason he was better then Steamboat is that Steamboat couldn't play heel. He said this jokingly but it makes sense.

I think both have their place in history, but as far as I'm concerned Eddie was so much better and has a legacy that's hard to surpass.

No option for both of them being even? Main stream-wise, Rey will go down as one of the best, if not the best, cruiserweights to ever enter the business. Eddie is easily one of the most charismatic wrestlers. They're both in my Top 10 TBH.

I couldn't choose since it would be a disservice to say one is better than the other. So i picked Ooooooh Chaavo instead.

I picked Vickie and heat, because even Eddie from the grave would hear the heat and be like, "OH ESSE, THATS HOW YOU GET TEH BOOZE!!!"

Title belts mean absolutely nothing. Rey will never even come close to being as good as Eddie.

Rey has generally been the bigger star most of his career, and is a living legend in Mexico by now, so I voted Rey.

Personally, Eddie seems better than Rey to me but objectively Rey surpassed him around 2006. He has been more successful in his career than Eddie ever was. Sure, he wasn't the best heel, but he didn't need to be. When Mysterio retires, I'll definitely miss him.

In lieu of a Kerwin White or Essa Rios option, I guess I'll go with Eddie.
