I know they won't scrap it as it cost ALOT of money to make and sure it does look great but I can't help but be bored by it.
One of the things I used to really look forward to at PPVs was to see the stage and what interesting set they'd come up with. Now it's just the HD tron with a few tweaks. (except Mania of course)
I think it just needs changing up a bit, nothing too drastic but to give it a fresh feel.
I also can't believe it took 3 years for someone to use that big WWE logo in a match.

They should permanently switch to the Old School Raw stage. For every show. Replace the RAW with whatever's appropriate.

Now it's just the HD tron with a few tweaks. (except Mania of course) More like it's the same stage for every PPV now. It's really annoying, but I understand they want to be consistent and not costly but man some of the sets aren't that good, like Survivor Series. All PPV sets from 2009 were reused. I think only Elimination Chamber and Bragging Rights had small modifications. EDIT: I love that the MSG Raw in 2009 and 2010 Slammys had different sets.

I do miss the old sets It gave the shows a difference instead of all having the same set but you're right except for Mania they have the same sets they just kinda move the props around maybe have the WWE logo at the top or the top set on the side but the entrance is always the same

I have always wished that they would go back to the "themed" entrances/sets of ppv's. I loved the swinging hooks or whatever you want to call them for Backlash or the war-like set-up of Armageddon. It made each show unique. Now we just get the Raw stage/entrance or slight modification of it. Also, I am tired of the red lights on the crowd for Raw and the blue for SD.

I can see why they'd do it, makes NXT and Superstars a lot easier among other things, but I never liked the current stage design. I say once NXT is dropped tape all of Superstars before SmackDown and give Raw its own set while SmackDown and Superstars can share a recolored one. It's basically Velocity anyway.

Two PPV sets I recall liking recently are TLC 2010 and Extreme Rules 2009, but frankly, I'm okay with the HD set nowadays; they just need to give people more unique entrances IMO. They're on the right track with ADR, but still, Swagger needs his push-up pyro and chest-beating back, SOMEONE needs Rey's old catapult entrance, and more people need pyro and special lighting in general.

Bryan needs pyro, new music, and his nickname back.

I can't believe that the WWE spend so much on that set. I miss the creativeness of the different looks for each PPV. Raw and Smackdown having different looks. But it better then WCW who used the same set for Everything without changes in the last couple of years.
Before that it was basicly all the same. for the longest time.

And if they changed, you'd just get bored with the new set after 3 months.
They have the current set working pretty well. All their videos/graphics/etc... are all figured out. They aren't going to waste money on a completely new setup, especially with their recent financial issues.

Id like to see more hard structure instead of EVERYTHING being an led panel. I made a mashup of the new led stage and the old raw stage from before the change and it looks pretty danm awesome.

The HD set is the first one I haven't really liked. I liked all the RAW stages, and both Smackdown stages (although I did prefer the oval stage). I liked that the two shows had different feels to them.

I'm going to go left-field and say every WWE show should have the King of the Ring chair, and John Morrison has to jump off of it at least once a month.

I don't like a stage period. I'm a big fan of the old PPV set ups, no ramp or anything, just an entrance way with the PPV logo. All the focus was on "holy shit this crowd is huge lets shove all these people in here", which gave things more of a big time sports feel than a heavily produced television production feel everything has now.
