Okay so the guy finally wins a match for the FIRST time since 2011 at the EC, only to get pinned by Heath Slater of all people the next night?
Geeze WWE, way to make your main event faces look strong.

Whereas HEATZ usually leads to a MITB win or a World Heavyweight Title reign.

Last year Vince McMahon pinned Cena the week before WrestleMania thanks to interference by Batista, so this isn't anything new.
Besides, more so then ever, win/loss records mean nothing in the WWE. How could do you explain Sheamus in a U.S. Title match with Bryan? Expect The Miz to be pinned clean in the next few weeks. Doesn't matter one bit that he is the champion.

Call me crazy, but I miss those 2 weeks of "*insert name* = BERRIEZ!" meme we had going here a couple months ago.

I find it funny that Slater has now beaten three former world champions in Jericho, Edge and Cena, something Barrett hasn't even done, yet he's considered the weak link of the Corre. And indeed the weak link of Nexus before Harris and McGillicutty joined.

Unless you count Mark Henry's ECW title run or R-Truth's NWA title, in that case Barrett has beaten three former world champions.
