As an Apocolypse Now fan I like it alot and think it suits him. Better that then another generic "intense" wwe theme or some song by a band WWE are trying to get over.

It's one of the best themes in the company. Leave it alone.

If people are concerned about his theme not being designed to give him an "entrance pop", they could really just put a voice clip at the beginning.
Like Cole saying "HE'S A NERD~!" or "GREGORY! HELMS!!!"

True, though I still am not sure about how familiar today's youth is with it. Honestly, right now on this board I'm willing to bet there are members who know about stuff like the Flair/Steamboat matches or Bob Backlund's dropping the title to the Shiek despite either not being born or only being toddlers when they happened. I agree with this. I wouldn't even be born for another 7 years when Skaaland threw in the towel.

He should say "SUBMISSION WRESTLING" at the start of it. And then come out in a giant spaceship.

It makes him look like a fool, so it pretty much fits into WWE's booking approach towards Danielson since he joined the company. Yeah, like how they had him go over Miz several times and make him tap. What a fool.

I like it. Initially it just reminded me of the chase scene in Blues Brothers, but now it's just CM Punk singing along to it.

While I dont agree with his "Nerd" schtick that hes been saddled with, he has been like to look like the real deal in the ring and then some.

Ric Flair's music has been used in tons of funny stuff as well and I've never seen anyone complain. I think Ride of the Valkyries is a good theme.

It's a great theme, but it needs some kind of opening hook and BAD. What about... "CAN YOU DIG IT SUCKA!? YES Yes yes NO No no YES Yes yes NO No no" followed by an exploding pyro? Alternatively he could go the more simplistic route with just "Gregory Helms" said before the song starts *tilts head to the left*.

I think the problem with it compared to most WWE themes is that it lacks a drumbeat, and thus, a little bit of the intensity. Not saying it's a bad theme, but that might be part of the reason.

Yeah, his music is the number one answer to the question, "Why is the crowd dead when he comes out, but comes alive during his matches?"
That said, I don't think that's necessarily a problem, because eventually he'll become so appreciated that people pop for it anyway, and it's pretty great music. But there are people who will never believe he's over as long as he's not getting a huge entrance pop, so for them, maybe he should change it. I don't know.
Still, it's better for people to not pop for your music, yet care about your performance, rather than vice versa.

A hook would be nice, but the tune is awesome and a hundred times better than a generic numetal alternative. Yes, it's different, that's why I like it

At first I hated his music, but it doesn't bother me now. I think he's going to need something new eventually, but I like the direction they are going in with his theme. I just think that the company should make an original entrance theme that's in the same style as this one.

So in other words, you want them to do to Ride of the Valkyries (or Walkries, whatever) what they did for Also Sprach Zarathusta when Ric Flair was in WWF from 1991-1993?
