wait Maryse spoke without an accent? ? and i think my head would explode if i heard Santino use his regular voice as i've only ever heard his over the top Italian accent.

Regal uses a different accent than his real one. Santino's Canadian (of Italian descent though), so he's faking too. That really boggles the mind. "Okay, you're English, but not quite English enough." It's easier to hate posh people than working class people.

Fake and bloated accents are very....hot? *shifty eyes*
As an American anthropology major who should know better, I will hang my head in shame...and watch the Drew video for 18,000th time.

wow that triple h accent is bruuuuuuuuuuuutaaaaaallll lol. But i know santino fakes, because he also has a russian character he used to do (who also uses sambo wrestling like kozlov). Maryse i figured was jsut tryna sound like most francophones from quebec so im not shocked.

Sheamus as one but not as much as it seems. A video of him in Irish Whip has him talking regularly. Funny thing is some people barely noticed Ted Dibiase's southern accent. Imagine if they make him force it more Also I think Maryse is just getting better at speaking English

I'm not sure if he will be able to hide it.

From a few interviews I remember Regal speaks with a north western accent, he is from the midlands orginally but I think spent his teenage/early 20s years in the Lancashire area which might be where he picked up the accent.
Goldust has a southern accent I've heard when he's spoken out of character, but I guess it doesn't suit his 'hollywood' character so clarifies it during promos, I assume Cody does the same but have never heard an out of character interview from him.

Kozlov puts his on quite a bit, he's Ukrainian not Russian but even so that accent is OTT!

I used to work in a shop in Blackpool and Regal came in one time. I spoke to him at the counter and he sounded pretty much like he does on TV.

Cena always seems to put on a weird accent during some of his promos. Well not so much weird as just different from how he talks normally.

Eddie only had a slight accent if any, in the WWE he hammed it up. Watch his WCW stuff, he talks normally.
Steiner fakes his Stupid Guy Accent, The Hardy's hide their insanely thick southern accents on the mic.

I'm surprised we've gone 2 pages and not 1 person mentions Layla.

I remember the short lived feud between Alex Wright (real and thick German accent) against Jean-Paul Levesque (worst fake French accent EVER). Not only is this remeberable because Wright won, but also because their real names suggest the exact opposite: Alex Wright is an English name, while Paul Levesque is indeed a French name. It's bizarre.
