Eddie only had a slight accent if any, in the WWE he hammed it up. Watch his WCW stuff, he talks normally. Steiner fakes his Stupid Guy Accent, The Hardy's hide their insanely thick southern accents on the mic. Trish Stratus hid hers. When she guest hosted, in a moment of being out of breath, her accent came out.

I think Alex Wright overdid his German accent a little though. I don't think it was that thick originally as his dad is American if I recall correctly.

I am willing to bet Umagas accent was fake.

I'm certain that Layla is trying to "Americanize" her accent.
Also Wade Barrett's accent sounded different when he was on NXT although I think he is talking naturally now.

Whenever Wade gets PO'ed mid match and shouts at someone (ie, Cena) that's his real voice.
Layla's real voice was what she used on the diva search, not the one when she was managing Regal, or the inbred valley girl accent she uses in the Beautiful People LayCool
As someone from North England, I can tell you that Regal's voice sounds nothing like that, my guess is that his accent is a bit more like Ricky Hatton's or Wayne Rooney's.

I'm well aware of Layla's 'real' accent - what I don't like is her forced Americanization.

Steve Wright is British, but Alex is German so.. I am willing to bet Umagas accent was fake. How can you tell when he wasn't speaking English? Actually he did speak English that one time and he sounded like Jamal.

Yeah, Wade's is very similar to mine, which I love. In that match against Punk a few weeks ago when Cena was ref this exchange really made me laugh. Wade: I'm trying to get a pin 'ere! Cena: Sorry, I forgot! Wade: AWH NICE! I don't think Regal's is as bad as Hatton, I remember seeing an out of character interview with him about his bizarre pets and his accent was different to TV so I assumed it was his real one. He spoke much like his character but with a Northern accent to it, if you get me? He was still very clear and easy to understand, but without the snooty Oxford boy twist.

Cena always seems to put on a weird accent during some of his promos. Well not so much weird as just different from how he talks normally. Whenever the WWE does an interview with Cena's family, it's painfully obvious that Cena's brothers have very thick Boston accents. I'd imagine that during promo's Cena is either toning down the accent, or has lost it over the years of being on the road. Either way what you're probably noticing is it slipping out every so often.

Scott Hall as Razor Ramon, its just funny listening to him faking that cuban accent I love how, when he first started using the Razor Ramon gimmick, it was sooooo thick and put-on, and he toned it down very, very gradually over the years. 1996 Razor was a lot less thick than 1993 Razor, but for some reason, 1996 Scott Hall was exactly the same as 1996 Razor! However, when he's shown up in more recent times, he almost sounds like "Big" Scott Hall did way back in 1986. I know that when he first arrived in WCW, for all intents and purposes he was still doing the Razor gimmick, but it's so silly that as soon as they first billed him by his birth name, he didn't just drop the accent. A guy named Scott Hall with a Cuban accent. Brilliant.

It took a good half decade for it to finally get back to its original accent.
