If you guys don't mind, I have a couple of questions myself. This is the first live 'Mania for me too.
The itinerary says that for the Morning Madness autograph session on Saturday we can "bring only one personal item to be autographed (no posed photos)" So if I bring that special WrestleMania magazine WWE put out, would the wrestlers sign that?
At Axxess, do you get anything for collecting autographs? I remember at the '95 Fan Festival everyone got a book filled with photos of the wrestlers and they could sign their names where their photos were.
Thanks in advance, and thanks for the tips everyone has already provided.

Yea, I'm pretty sure that's what they mean by "bring one personal item to be autorgraphed". In other words they won't be providing you stuff to get signed, and they're not going to take pictures with you. And they're not gonna sign more than one thing for you.

most great tips have been posted, so i'll reiterate, tho i've only been to WM 25:
-Batteries for camera
-We ate at a local sub shop in Houston before the event, we stayed in a hotel right near the stadium so we didn't have to worry about parking and could take the local train to the event. that was awesome. the train was packed full of wrestling fans. it was amazing to hear all the conversations.
-Got there relatively early so like someone else said it was amazing to watch the arena fill up with 70,000 people. every 15 minutes close your eyes and just listen to the noise, it gets louder and louder. it's nerdy, but i enjoy weird things like that.
-If you're trying to get merch, don't be the quiet person just standing there. don't be a dick either but get the vendors attention and have your money ready.
-as someone else also said if you go to Axxess do EVERYTHING. lose yourself and become a kid again. and talk to as many fans as possible. i think i talked to more people from various countries around the world than i ever have in my life.
-to the thing above: if you are in a hotel with a bar, GO TO IT. it will be full of drinking/various stages of drunk wrestling fans. you will be amused. trust me. this comes from someone who doesn't drink, i had a blast listening to people argue over wrestling.
-absorb the atmosphere. there's nothing like it. i've been to the World Series and the Superbowl, WM was definately my favorite "big" event.

I don't think being white is going to be a problem down in Georgia. if anything, beware of hot chicks looking for guys. atlanta is the number 1 city for newly transmitted STD's I didn't mean for that to sound racist, but it did I was just tryin to tell the story of how 3 Honkeys got lost in the ghetto

I'll be attending my first WrestleMania as well, but I know Atlanta:
1) MARTA is the public transportation, and it stops at the Georgia Dome. I think round trip is $4 from anywhere to anywhere and back, $2 one way. It's a good system and beats the heck out of traffic and high parking prices where you still have to walk a mile or more.
2) Centennial Olympic Park (where that idiot Eric Rudolph did his terrorism thing in 1996) isn't terribly far and there are often free concerts on the weekend. Search the net and you can probably find out.
3) Rather than do the Hall of Fame induction or Axxess, me and my bud have tickets to ROH and DragonGateUSA, which are both putting on shows Saturday (I think ROH has one Friday and another Saturday, and DGUSA I think has one Saturday and one at noon or so on Sunday). May or not be sold out, but I'm hyped to see some Indy wrestling up close.
4) Everyone in Atlanta looks like either Goldberg or Mr Wrestling II (but you can't tell unless they're wearing the mask)
5) Abdullah the Butcher's House of Ribs and Chinese Food is in the hood, isn't easy to find, but is well worth the trip. Check online and maybe you can find directions and hours of operation online, but I wouldn't advise going at night. Bad neighborhood. And contrary to rumor, Mr. Fuji does not on the Chinese food portion of the franchise.

If you're traveling in, the best thing to do is treat it like a huge spectacle, the whole week/weekend leading up...I went to Wrestlemania 24 in Orlando with a bunch of my old high school buddies, cousins, friends, most who didn't watch wrestling and they ALL had a blast!
We rented an awesome house outside the city, and a limo to take us to the event. It wasn't as expensive as it sounds..the house was like $400 for 5 days, and the limo was around $250 for the prior show, whole show and getting us home..split by like 9 people!
Be sure to buy that t-shirt you MUST HAVE as soon as you walk in. You figure there's no way that will sell out but they do by like mid-point, when you leave all that's left is the junk tee's you'd never wear.
Bring lots of cash for beer. Get involved with the crowd. Lose the smarkiness as one said.
One guy mentioned a "can't see sh%t" chant, and I do remember when the lights went down for half a match, we had seats right by the main entrance on the second tier level (great seats) but a spot light was DIRECTLY in our faces, so we started a "TURN THE LIGHT OFF!" *clap clap clap clap clap* chant and it actually worked!!
Then almost got killed by Undertaker's fireworks.

If you're close to the front row, jump the barrier and run into the ring. Everybody will think you're cool.

Do no go west of the Georgia Dome. Is that where Bad Street is? For some reason when I put Bad Street Atlanta GA into Google Maps I'm not seeing the Freebirds house at the end of the block (last house on the left).

How long's it been since a WWE event was held in the Dome? I've been to two live events and they've both been at the Philips Arena. My favorite thing about going to an event is getting to see the wrestlers enter the building and I know where to do that at the Philips Arena, but I have NO idea where to do that at the Dome.
Does anyone here know? It's probably a long shot.

If you go to the HOF, do NOT be "that guy" who makes snarky chants and boos cena. Cheering the wrestlers is fine. Yelling "one more match" at elderly wrestlers like bob armstrong just to be cute isnt.

For some reason when I put Bad Street Atlanta GA into Google Maps I'm not seeing the Freebirds house at the end of the block (last house on the left). They moved to Has Been Lane. I have been to events at the Georgia Dome where I had behind-the-scene access on a press pass (football games), and you're going to have a lot of trouble getting anywhere you can see wrestlers arrive. On the north side, I believe it is, where the Gold Parking Lot is, there are wide concrete stairways that go a long way down. The parking area there is underground and has security, so you won't be getting there. I would guess the wrestlers will enter from that lot into the "underground" entrance. You can probably get down there through those stairways, but the walk-in areas where the wrestlers will likely be coming from will be roped off. Sometimes football fans will line up there and sometimes the players will stop to high-five or sign an autograph or two, but security gets pretty aggressive with anyone who holds them up very long. Go to Axxess if you want autographs.

I've never been a Wrestlemania but I have been to a Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and a bunch of house shows and ROH shows so I can try to add my input.
1. Like a lot of people said, don't be the chanting person. Sit down, shut up, and enjoy the show.
2. Bring lots of extra money. Drinks, snacks, merch...etc, you're gonna need it.
3. DON'T BRING A SIGN. At an event like this, where tickets are rare and expensive, don't be the douche with a sign that blocks others views.
4. Bring colongue/deoderant. The excitment of the night will have you sweating. Don't be the smelly person.
5. Most important. When you are there, take a deep breath, look around, and realize where you are. Enjoy the moment.
6. Try to make it to ROH or DGUSA that weekend. They put on great shows that will have you pumped for the big one on Sunday, plus you might discover something you like. At ROH or DGUSA chant whatever you want, get it out of your system. They love it there.
