I can't remember if got debunked as NEWZ or not, but was it true that Hoyt got the name "Vance Archer" because he was originally going to get a Robin Hood gimmick? Not possible. They didn't have tramp stamps back in olden times.

I didn't understand what they were going for with "Vance Archer". They started with a bad name, went with a bad gimmick, and had him use bad moves. I've already seen that he's pretty good elsewhere, both in the ring and in character. I don't believe they INTENTIONALLY sabotaged his run...but it sure felt that way. They did the same to Sean O'Haire, had a guy that worked best with a big-cruiserweight style and homogenized him.

I blame the back tattoo. Completely. I'm sure if anybody had a problem with his tattoo he could have worn a singlet. I just think it's insane for people to care so much about a damn tattoo.
