Their match at The Bash 2009 was my favourite of that year. Yes above Shawn vs. Taker.

All Jerichos work,Rey had no part in making any of the matchs look good. As someone who just watched all 3 matches that is 3049830948% false. Rey brought his A game and had a great match(as usual).

That's the third time you've said that. I don't mean to be harsh, but we get it- you like Rey. You like him a lot. That's cool, but a bit less repetition would be nifty, dude. =)

I hate Rey's character, but there's no doubt to me he's still one of the best in the ring. Has he lost a step? Yes. Am I sick of him battling guys 200 lbs bigger than him? Yes. But you put him in the ring with someone with just decent agility, and he brings the best out of them.
His feud with Jericho was awesome that year. The match at the Bash was also my MOTY, above HBK-Taker.
That was a great year for Rey in general. It started at the EC that year, and followed through to his matches with Jericho and then Dolph.

Great series of matches between two legends. The one good thing you can take away from a feud with Mysterio is that match quality will be good to great.

the only one of those matches I've seen was the match at extreme rules and it was fantastic.

Come on, you should know better than to try to appreciate anything Rey does on these boards, without being trolled to death...

They were a great series. I think my favourite spot was when Rey went to 619 Jericho, only for Jericho to snatch his mask off. It looked awesome.

I loved these matches as well. Jericho was having, in my opinion, a career renaissance and was on fire to the point that it rubbed off on other guys and raised their game. It was during this time that I started to get behind both Mysterio and Big Show again, and both remain among my favorites to this day.
Watching these matches made me realize that the only reason I wasn't liking Rey's matches was because he was constantly being booked in formulaic "David vs Goliath"- style matches against guys like Show, JBL, and Mike Knox. This works once in a while but gets incredibly boring and predictable when done over and over again. Jericho was the perfect fix.

Guys, I'm pretty sure joshifan was just mocking the regular Rey hate, and that that wasn't a serious remark.
