While cute, the stilt spot completely defied the logic of the match. While Kofi was scrounging around the ring to grab the broken ladder parts, there was a perfectly good ladder dangling along the outer ropes in plain view.
Realistically, it would be much easier to grab the good ladder and climb the ladder and grab the belt.
Another reason why I have lost interest in MITB matches is there are two many guys in the match. It has become more of a spot show to where there is less emphasis on trying to actually win the match.

Flatten your opponents and then try to win it.

I loved it. He tried to make the best of what he had, and it was one of the most memorable MITB spots ever. They need to drop it to 6 guys IMO.

Ladder matches haven't made sense for atleast a decade. Not that I'm complaining, but its the truth. In kayfabe the moves they make, make no sense. Some guy randomly sets up a ladder next to another, then goes back to fight whoever, then later in the match the ladders are in that same position which just happen to set up for some contrived spot.
Though I guess its kind of dumb to complain about something being contrived in wrestling. Why doesn't someone just hit their finisher at the start, pick up the guy, and do it five more times to end the match?

I thought it was kind of silly and I was like "well, uh, that's kind of stupid to try" when he did it.
