In the kayfabe sense, Young already gained his WWE contract when he was apart of the Nexus. Even after he was kicked out the Nexus, he still competed on Superstars. Did I miss something or is this just another lack of continuity by the WWE writing staff ?

Wasn't there something a while back that said that the WWE used to have a continuity editor like most ongoing shows do, before they fired him and never replaced the position?

Plus Yoshi Tatsu is a "pro" without considering he debuted on ECW a few weeks before the first week of NXT began. Why can't the WWE give us all vets for pros ?

I thought I saw something where Yoshi trained with the Season One rookies.

I thought I saw something where Yoshi trained with the Season One rookies. He did, but most of the NXT1 rookies had been around in FCW for a pretty long time at that point, some of them years. Also, the guys who wrestled under the "New Talent Initiative" on ECW generally stayed on FCW for a while. So Yoshi and the NXT1 guys had plenty of time to interact.

When Darren was kicked out of Nexus he lost his contract. Obviously, everyone hated Nexus so Smackdown wouldn't pick him up. And Superstars..well..Superstars clearly doesn't actually exist. Which would explain why Primo switched from face to heel every week.

When Darren was kicked out of Nexus he lost his contract. Obviously, everyone hated Nexus so Smackdown wouldn't pick him up. And Superstars..well..Superstars clearly doesn't actually exist. Which would explain why Primo switched from face to heel every week. This basically. The Raw GM remembered how Nexus extorted the contracts, and wanted revenge. That's why when Wade Barrett left Nexus, he was forced to ally with Dolph Ziggler to take out Teddy Long (that's how Slabriel landed on Smackdown as well). Harris and McGillicutty weren't involved in the "NXT Riot" so they (and Mason Ryan) got free passes, and with CM Punk taking over Nexus, Otunga was allowed to stay on Raw with Punk keeping him in check. Bryan apologized and took his licks like a man, so he was safe, and Tarver's in limbo because neither the Raw GM nor Teddy Long will have him (why do you think he's just hanging out backstage?). It's deeper than you think.
