In today's Observer Update was this tidbit:
There are rumors going around that it will be announced tomorrow morning of a new WWE signing. It is not a major name star as far as someone a lot of people would know, but it's fairly significant for a number of reasons.
So its a significant person, but not well known. Any ideas who he could be talking about?

Two names came to mind: Sal Rinauro or TJ Perkins.

I can only think it is a major name for the backstage work or something. How else can you have a significant signing without it being a major name?

I guess they saw TNA bring back the Disco Inferno so they went and signed Alex Wright.

This person is important precisely because they are unimportant in only unimportant ways, and important for an unspecified number of important reasons, deemed so by important people. Regardless, this could be interesting, riddles aside.

It could be somebody that signifies a change in direction for WWE, or something. Or somebody who could get back together with his old tag team partner and become the big babyface tag team of the generation like they should have been in the first place... *will never let this go*

New Jack? He's not all that famous, and it would be a huge shock if WWE hired him...

Hmmmm...after thinking this over for a bit, I've come to this conclusion:
James Roday. Head of WWE Creative.

Is this the return of the old school WCW-hotlines...."The WWE has made a significant signing - if you want to find out who, call the observer hotline!". I mean really, c'mon observer - they're reporting that there's a rumor that the WWE is going to sign somebody?

Wasn't there talk for a long time of WWE wanting to sign a Chinese wrestler and push him hard?

If they sign Stephen Colbert and let him use his chinese character, I'll buy stock in WWE.
