It is indeed Averno according to the Luchablog www.thecubsfan.com/cmllLong story short, they went to Sin Cara, and asked that if he could work with anyone in the world, who would he most like to work with.

They really think highly of Sin Cara. I'd say quite the opposite. They're desperate to make him have a good match as they're unhappy with his in-ring performance. And seeing as he can't speak a word of English, this is all he can go on right now. They paid big bucks and wanted him for years, so they want the investment to pay off.

They're willing to bring a guy in to make him look good. Even as far as asking him who he wants.
I'd say they think highly enough to do all that to make it work.

If it isn't either this, Crofty, or Colt then I'm going to be disappointed. Mariah (the transgender wrestler) being signed would make me curl up into a ball and cry. I don't think I could handle the bigotry that would result from that D: I just looked her up on Google. She's foxy! But I think I understand where you're coming from as the WWE doesn't really have the best track record with alternative lifestyle angles. It might also be difficult for the fans to accept, which is really sort of unfortunate.

I honestly think they screwed themselves with him on that front in terms of him having poor matches by redesigning his mask. He can't possibly see all that well, coupled in with the fact that he's wrestling in the dark, practically. They have only themselves to blame on the poor matches front.

Never bothered Liger, whose eyes use a similar one-way mesh.

I think it's the fact that he didn't go to FCW first and wasn't able to "Americanize" his wrestling style. Daniel Bryan was gonna be put on the main roster once he came in, but he wanted to go to FCW to train to make his style more "WWE." I think if Sin Cara went to FCW, his style would be more grounded, like Mysterio's. Hopefully this new guy can bring out fantasic luchador type matches in WWE with Sin Cara.

New Jack? He's not all that famous, and it would be a huge shock if WWE hired him... New Jack would murder his first opponent live on Raw and then go to jail. And he'd laugh all the way there.

Pairing him up with Bryan more often would be a good start, as would getting rid of the lighting. Not to mention making sure Chavo stays well away from him. Just rewatched Over The Limit this morning and Chavo is a clear step behind him so often.

In response to some of the mumblings on this thread, I really hope that it isnt the transgender that the WWE has signed (realistically saying, it probably isnt)
The elementary school mentality in the writers room would make it WrestleCrap waiting to happen. I have no problem with angles like LayCool calling Beth a man, because it was obviously bitchy heels begging for an ass kicking from someone who was certifiably a woman. Something like this just could not work in a writers room with the WWE. Plus what would her gimmick be? Would you have the commentator constantly putting over how we should accept her for being different? I want wrestling, not a PSA.
