All the rest of the fallout notwithstanding, one of my most annoying losses from the Benoit tragedy is the arguably irrevocable tarnishing of what's otherwise a pretty awesome Our Lady Peace song.
I myself've been able to dissociate the song from Benoit and enjoy the song on its own, but I'm not sure if radio stations or anybody else has been able to, or if it's like on a banned list of songs to play somewhere.
So has anybody heard "Whatever/There's No Holding Me Back" on the radio since then, or heard MLP perform it in concert, or anything that would suggest that other people've been able to dissociate the song from a certain Canadian Crippler?
Because really, it's a damn good song.

I have Forceable Entry on my iPod and would still listen to it. Hell, a few months ago, I bought Hard Knocks, probably because it is a rare find these days.

I don't think I ever heard that on the radio to begin with Technically the song belongs to WWE and as such they couldn't release it as a single, so it's very unlikely it would have been on anything bigger than a local radio station.

I would think the question should be directed more to "One Thing" by Finger Eleven. That one, I've not heard in a while.

That was a real song? The only thing that I remember is the intro. There were lyrics?

I heard it at a bowling alley once and it had the most amazing dedication ever. Really? Was it before or after the incident? Also, was the radio being played or did someone play his/her own music over the speakers?

The only song written specifically for wrestling that i've heard on the radio was across the nation (unless pencil neck geek counts). Though to be honest i havent heard ANY our lady peace on the radio since 2002.

Slightly off-topic, but is the reason that the current commentary team use the clumsy "aggressiveness" instead of "aggression", because of the connection to Benoit, or is it part of Vince's broader plan to subvert the English language?

Somewhere Out There, Innocent and Made of Steel are the only singles from Gravity that were released for radio, so you won't hear it on radio unless it's on an independent playlist. It's kinda like that Diamond Rio song that the chain mail claims was banned from radio, it was never released to radio.

Whatever was never released as a single, and as far as live performances go I'm pretty sure they stopped it after the whole Benoit Incident. It is on their live album from a few years back tho
