face or heel? I'd like to see him as a face in a feud with Del Rio, and I think they were heading that route in the losing streak angle they had him in right before he left

While I think they could go two ways with this and do heel or face, I imagine he'll come back as a face.

His return got a great pop, and then.....nothing, really. It was just really uneventful until he turned SRS.

Fozzy is booked through July doing shows in Europe and there is no way they will cancel their Sonisphere appearance. Jericho was really psyched about being on a bill with The Big 4 (Metallica/Megadeth/Anthrax/Slayer) on That Metal Show last week.

They need a face and I think it would be a new challenge for Jericho to get REALLY over as a face. His work from his most recent return was the best of his career and the catapulted himself into a different stratosphere. I think a face run this time would be more successful than it was in 2008.

Well, with the roster as thin as it is, they need him back. They really do. You wanna build stars in a hurry? Get Jericho in your company, he could get a cup of coffee over if he has the mic time As a manager: This...is the biggest, baddest coffee eeeveerrr! And don't you forget it, Junior! Feuding with coffee: I don't need you in the morning, you parasitic liquefied mixture of caffeinated syrup and disappointment! I'm Chris Jericho!

Either way they do it, assuming he comes back as a face, I want two things.
1. Don't even try to hide that it's Jericho coming back. It'll build more anticipation that way and people figured out both his original debut and his Second Coming to the point that neither were TOO much of a surprise.
2. Don't freaking ruin the pop by having do ANYTHING (e.g. clotheslining the torchbearer) before the countdown hits and we break the walls down.

Jericho was boring his last return was a flop Bull. His last run was great. Some great matches, some solid feuds with the likes of Michaels, Orton, and others. Not to mention the SRS gimmick was awesome. If you're trying to troll us good sir you have failed. Snookimaniac: But... YOU HAVE FAILED!

I'm willing to bet that, with Edge gone, Smackdown needing star power, and Jericho getting lots of mainstream exposure via DWTS, Jericho's pay is being delivered by a fleet of U-Haul trucks being driven by naked Playboy centerfolds.

The guy is right though, what is left for Jericho to do? It's not like there's a whole roster of new guys he hasn't faced and could draw money against. He just left (got punted out) last year.

I don't think he means he'll be back straight away, just at some point in the future he'll be back, which most of us would have guessed anyway.

Including both a face and heel turn (and members of both rosters), he still has fresh feuds with: -Alberto Del Rio -The Miz -John Morrison -Undertaker -CM Punk -Daniel Bryan -Sin Cara -Cody Rhodes -Drew McIntyre -Wade Barrett (and the rest of the Corre) -Jack Swagger -Kofi Kingston -R-Truth -Sheamus -Zack Ryder That's not including more feuds with Randy Orton, John Cena, Kane, Christian, Triple H, etc.

I'm just saying, can't we "miss a guy" without pushing for his return?

I'm just saying, can't we "miss a guy" without pushing for his return? Yes. However, I still feel Jericho has one last, great run in him before he calls it a career. Granted, I also want a send-off, which I know he's against.

who cares about when Y2J is coming back? I know when JYD is coming back You'll need a shovel first. If Jericho comes back, he should come back as funny, entertaining Jericho and not the "parasites/hypocrites" rubbish Jericho

Jericho was boring his last return was a flop I mean, whats left for him to do? It certainly wasn't a flop. He got great heel heat. He was brilliant. As far as I'm concerned his last run was his best ever. That character was my favorite version of Chris Jericho ever.
