Scott Steiner's TNA theme is basically his WWE theme without the "Holler if ya hear me" at the beginning.

I'm thinking Jimmy Hart did the Wolfpac theme so, while TNA did use an instrumental, it was the real deal just like in WCW and not TNA-ized version. In the same vein, Hogan used "American Made" in WCW and the short lived XWF. He probably could even use it in TNA if Jimmy Hart has the rights to it. Abyss used it in TNA.

I blocked that out of my head for obvious reasons. Anyway, there it is...Jimmy Hart's American Made AND Wolfpac theme (albeit without lyrics) were used in TNA during the Hogan/Bischoff regime. The Jimmy Hart library is huge! We could have an American Males reunion complete with entrance theme! Do it TNA! Reform 3 Count while you're at it...

Ricky Steamboat used Sirius by the Alan Parsons Project in WWE and WCW. Ahh, this is the type of thing I'm talking about. Interesting. The Sabu one was interesting to me also, so I looked his themes up on youtube. Here's what I've decided after listening. His WWE and ECW themes were exactly the same. The ECW one that I listened to is the one from the "ECW Extreme Music" album. His TNA theme is basically the same, but it's slightly different. The guitars aren't as heavy and loud, and that's really the main difference. I also think the song is structured slightly different with the guitars coming in first, and then the arabian chords. I think it is close enough to qualify as the same theme though. His WCW theme is a giant pile of poop. Nothing like his other themes, and was likely just "sports highlight #18" or something. Haha. I'm guessing im the only person in the world who likes Sabu's WCW theme. It's just so damn funky!

Sabu's theme then became La Parka's theme so it was awesome.

Speaking of TNA knock offs, Raven's theme was very similar to his WCW theme. He also used one that was a rip off of "Come Out and Play" in TNA. I think it was even named The Offspring

Killings owns his theme. he wrote it himself. TNA allowed wrestlers who made a theme to use it. Example is also Modest theme for Jeff Hardy. He could use that theme anywhere if he wanted too. Savage theme wasn't the same. His WCW was done on electoric Guiter. His WWE wasn't. Plus he added the "Oh Yeah" too it.

Yea, which is why I said that I wasn't asking about people that used their old WCW them when they came to WWE after the buyout. There would just be a ton of people on that list. Even though most of those themes were changed slightly to add a catchphrase at the beginning or something, I still consider them the same if the actual song is basically unchanged. Doesn't mean people can' t bring them up, it's just redundant. Just one of those things that shows how different TNA and WWE are when it comes to this sort of thing. Like I said about Cena, WWE would never allow another company to use his theme even though he recorded it himself. Then again, WWE probably paid for the production of Cena's album, so that's a pretty legit reason for them to own the rights. I really just wanted to do this topic b/c I had never seen R-Truth's music brought up before. Having grown up during the WWF vs. WCW war, it's a little surreal to me to see someone jump from a rival promotion and actually bring their theme song with them. If only Bret could have done that when he went to WCW ;D
