To use the same theme in two different wrestling companies? His "What's up" theme is basically the same as his TNA theme, only with a lyric change to add in "WWE is where it's at" or something like that.
Obviously, I'm not counting the indies because they don't have issues with licensing and whatnot. I'm also not counting people like Booker who used basically the same theme in WWE and WCW, because he didn't show up in WWE until after they owned WCW. I'm also not counting people who's theme is public domain.

The Wolfpac music in WCW was used as The Band's music in TNA. Both factions had Kevin Nash and Scott Hall in them. Except the Band's just an instrumental of the Wolfpac theme.

I'm guessing R-Truth owns the song.

I really would love to see them mention Truth and Cena having problems in the past, and maybe bring up Truth's old raps on him. Like, I know they don't like mentioning the past, but maybe they could do something small anyway. I guess Truth is now being mentioned a lot now, which is good.

True, but the TNA version was an instrumental like you said, and in all likelihood it was a knockoff version made by whoever does music for TNA. I wouldn't consider it the same theme. Sort of like how Hogan's TNA music is a knockoff of the NWO theme. Not the same thing, but close enough to be recognizable. But yea, I'm sure R-Truth owned the song which is why he was able to use it in WWE after using it in TNA. I'm also pretty sure that WWE NOW owns the song. I mean, imagine if Cena went to TNA one day...there's no way in hell he'd be able to keep using "My Time Is Now" even though he rapped (and wrote?) the song.

Speaking of TNA knock offs, Raven's theme was very similar to his WCW theme.

nWo in WCW and WWE if that counts.
R-Truth does own the song, yes.
I don't know why TNA doesn't use 'Man With A Plan' for Kendrick.

I hope he doesn't permanently change themes. The song itself just fits so damn PERFECTLY with his completely senseless, random character (or self, we don't actually really know).

Christians TNA theme was close to his WWE theme. Still is if you consider that his current theme is an updated version.

Ricky Steamboat used Sirius by the Alan Parsons Project in WWE and WCW. Ahh, this is the type of thing I'm talking about. Interesting. The Sabu one was interesting to me also, so I looked his themes up on youtube. Here's what I've decided after listening. His WWE and ECW themes were exactly the same. The ECW one that I listened to is the one from the "ECW Extreme Music" album. His TNA theme is basically the same, but it's slightly different. The guitars aren't as heavy and loud, and that's really the main difference. I also think the song is structured slightly different with the guitars coming in first, and then the arabian chords. I think it is close enough to qualify as the same theme though. His WCW theme is a giant pile of poop. Nothing like his other themes, and was likely just "sports highlight #18" or something.

The lead copyright on Cena's album is WWE, so that answers that question.

I know he won't use it in the WWE, but I really liked this theme.

I'm thinking Jimmy Hart did the Wolfpac theme so, while TNA did use an instrumental, it was the real deal just like in WCW and not a TNA-ized version.
In the same vein, Hogan used "American Made" in WCW and the short lived XWF. He probably could even use it in TNA if Jimmy Hart has the rights to it.
