I'm watching WCW Starrcade 92 Battlebowl The Lethal Lottery and after seeing Kensuki Sasaki it got me thinking.
I don't follow any international wrestling. The only International stars I remember were the various cross exchanges between WCW and Japan. Muta, Sasaki, Chono and others.
Right now, are there any up and comers that could have what it takes to cross over to the American market?
In general, why hasn't Vince cross promoted with any Japan feds? Aside from the language barrier, bringing in a few top stars wouldn't hurt. WCW did it and Muta among others mixed well and had some great feuds with the flairs and stings of that time. In the end it would be great business for both companies and it would really freshen things up.
An nwo style invasion (I know it's been done to death) but have 3 or so top guys from Japan show up at a ppv or raw and cause kaos... leading to a usa vs Japan - whos stars are better type war...
who are the top 3 faces and heels in all of Japan? I'm not even sure which organizations exist anymore. New Japan? All Japan? WAR?

It's a WWE booked show. The smaller Japanese guys would be booked to be CRUSHED by Cena and guys like him, and the crowd would be chanting "USA!" the whole time.

I think Takeshi Morishima could get over with the WWE audience as a Kharma, Lesnar, Goldberg juggernaut type guy. Wasn't WWE interested in signing him at one point?

Well, it was slated to start with Go Shiozaki's hiring, then they decided he was too Asian.

That'd require WWE to acknowledge federations that aren't dead and owned by them.

In general, why hasn't Vince cross promoted with any Japan feds? He sent some WWE talent to work with New Japan back in the late 70s / early 80s, and vice versa. Plus, he did a cross-promotion show with New Japan and All Japan back in 1990, which had Bret Hart Vs. Tiger Mask, Tenryu Vs. Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan Vs. Stan Hansen, and one of Andre the Giant's last matches, teaming up with Giant Baba to beat Demolition. So yes, he's done cross-promotional work in the past. I think that he doesn't want to do a cross-promotional show unless he decides to buy the promotion in question, ala WCW and ECW.

That'd require WWE to acknowledge federations that aren't dead and owned by them. Striker was pretty much the only one do that in recent years.

Takeshi Morishima is a complete beast! Wow... checking out some of his work on youtube - what a talent. He could so get over with his mere roughhouse persona.

Wasn't there some sort of clause that prevented Morishima to be shown on WWE TV when he had his tryout matches with Tony Atlas as his manager? Maybe because of ROH or NOAH?

An awesome idea. Really it is. Cross promotional work in markets where both aren't strong, however, WWE doesn't know how to book a feud where both sides come out strong. Especially the heels. Any invaders become heels instantly.
ROH might work for this, maybe even Impact Wrestling... but WWE never. They're very self contained and will not deviate from a working formula until something challenges them to do so.

They would be pretty muched kaientai or kenzo suzuki'd Add Yoshi Tatsu'd. I think Hakushi is the only Japanese star to come to the WW(F)E and not be marginalized as the funny foreigner face or the anti-American foreigner heel. Even Tajiri was heavily watered down, with only a few moments as a real aggressive character.

It would've been an awesome time to do it in 95 when WWF was tanking and so many Japanese legends were in their prime.

To pull off an invasion angle you need someone with great mic skills to talk for the invading force. I guess you could have someone in the WWE(I bet it would be Cole ughh) be behind it but that would just undersell the wrestlers.

All they need are the following:
*They need to be EEEEVVILLL~! (INDEEEEED!) *They have to be "Too Asian". *Have the UCLA Girl in a heel role

It could be done, but you'd need to see a major paradigm shift in the WWE before it could happen right. When Daniel Bryan is WWE champion, then it'll be within the slimmest of chances of actually seeing it.
