So, Drew got awesome new overpowered pyro tonight. I like it.
I figure now that Batista, HBK, Edge, Shelton Benjamin, and Jericho are gone, that pyro budget has to go somewhere. Now can we get Dolph, Miz and Sheamus some? Big Show's pyro during ShoMiz synced up damn well with "I Came to Play" and I wanna see that back.
Failing that, give me Swagger's push-up pyro already, geez.

Of all the random stuff tonight, that one was the biggest head scratcher

Impressive Pyro cannot make up for a boring talent. lol his last matches have proven he's one of the best workers in WWE. And the pyro was just so awesomely unnecessary. Loved it.

He is a OK worker, but he is boring.
He will not get far, he has the 'Lance Storm/Jerry Lynn' infection thing going on. Both talented, but not entertainers.

Seriously, I know this from watching his last few matches. I don't just mean good in one sense. I mean emotions, ring work, he has become one of the best in WWE.

I dug the pyro, but the whole thing smacks of "We can't get this guy over, so let's surprise people with pyro". They did it with Shelton Benjamin, they're doing it with Drew.

No way, Drew is on fire as of late. He looks like a potential star to me, rather than dude shoved down our throats.

I miss his old intro. It gave his entrance a big-time feel.

Love that he's got a big pyro, but surprised they're not using the start of the full iTunes version, where the drums kick in and it goes directly into "And I dream broken dreams!" Seems like it'd be a much more natural fit with the pyro.
As for those calling him boring/slow, he's a lot quicker than the current World Heavyweight Champion, and shows more psychology, to boot.

And here I thought Swagger was going to be next US title contender.
Glad they gave him pyro but they're probably not going to use it again. ADR came out with the "golden shower" once and it hasn't been used again after that.

Well, I haven't seen him come out to it recently. I only saw the shower once since he's been on RAW.

I miss his old intro. It gave his entrance a big-time feel. Me too. The slow lead in with the ominous music had a much bigger effect for me than the random pyro.

I loved Drew's entrance tonight it was awesome and for a brief second there,I thought they were gonna let him beat Kofi, which would have been awesome,I think Drew has tons of potential but since this is the WWE,It's gonna be a slow push for him to be ME material.

I really liked the new intro and pyro. The intro he had before is cool, but it was fairly slowly paced; something that would be much more fitting of a methodical, scheming heel.
Drew's new entrance suits him perfectly: it's loud, violently and suddenly starts when you don't expect it, and then he's there, with the chorus of his theme playing right away. It works a lot better for his character.

Good pyro but doesn't really fit him. You have that massive explosion and then he walks out totally generic.
