So, I've been thinking. On the one hand, Big Red's been bumped down to the midcard. On the other hand, he's just gotten clean wins over Bryan and Kofi within the last week, two of the top midcard babyfaces. With those two down (though he could probably still work a brief program with either of them), this left me wondering who Sheamus' next challenger would be; someone else who fits into that same sweet spot as him of being below the main event but above most of the rest of the card. Christian, maybe, but Christian's a bit busy at the moment. Morrison, perhaps, but he and Sheamus just feuded for a few months, and the last thing JoMo needs is yet another midcard title run.
But then it occured to me, we've got a new babyface arriving soon, one whom the bookers evidently want to build up as a potential major star from the moment he debuts... and who better to put Sin Cara over than a former world champion, a big guy who has a good track record of having solid matches against smaller babyfaces, a guy who has just enough credibility that beating him seems rather important without actually risking letting the new guy go over any real stars?
Sheamus vs. Sin Cara. I'm calling it; if not for Wrestlemania itself, then for shortly after Wrestlemania, within the first couple months of his debut.
And I think it could be excellent.

No, he'll just do a pointless cameo in Sin Cara's next comic book recap-er, I mean review.

i would love to see Sin Cara debut...and have the match go like this...
Sin Cara enters the ring
Cole goes on about how his signing is undeserved and is nothing but an internet darling
Sheamus does the Brogue kick
1 - 2 - 3
then Cole says "nobody gives a crap about mexico!!" (actually on a old nitro tape i found Zbyszko said this EXACT same thing during a Juvi and Mysterio match)
mainly i want to see it play out like that just to see everybodys reaction's to it

They'll throw him in the ring with people who can work a fast paced match so that fans learn to expect that kind of stuff out of him before throwing him in with the big guys.

Sin Cara's first match is going to be againse a smaller heel so he can show off what he can do and it's completely obvious for the crowd who to cheer for. So Chavo.

Is Sin Cara going to be on Smackdown? If so Sheamus is on Raw so I don't see a fued likely (at least not straight away). With him being a masked Mexican it'd make sense as having him running in for Rey-Rey. So my guess he could be fueding with Cody Rhodes but thats just to speculate!!

I for one would rather not see him thrust into a feud so early. Seeing as how his main draw is going to be his in-ring work, he should spend the first month or so just having matches with no storyline. This would keep him away from the mic and give him a chance to get over with the crowd. Then when you do give him a storyline, the crowd will still love him even though he speaks no english.

Possibly. Sheamus does well with a guy that can bump for him.
