Who here can enjoy a WWE show all the way without nitpicking it even if it's ripped apart by the IWC? I thought Wrestlemania 27 was awesome all of it but when I looked online after the show it was ripped apart by most everyone in the IWC I planned to watch Wrestlemania 27 just trying to enjoy it, be a fan , and throw my IWC filled mind out the window! there are some things that can be obviously bad like cole/lawler going too long with coles slow boring offense but it was still entertaining!

I can enjoy a good event. I can't enjoy a bad event. Does being a fan mean you have to watch everything blindly and enjoy it even when it sucks?
Even if a band I completely adore comes out with a new album and I hate it, I'll say it sucks. And if anyone asks me I'll tell them it sucks, but they had a few good songs and it's not their best work. I don't think being a fan means to be blindly enjoy everything about a product.
If a PPV was done absolutely flawlessly, but every match was won by a heel, I'm sure the casual fans we should strive to be like would hate it. So are they not fans either?

Well, without sounding like a complete snark, I don't nitpick events, shows, or much of anything unless I find something worth nitpicking. Take Mysterio, for instance: I never say anything bad about him because, unlike some others in the IWC, I have absolutely no problem with him. Contrast "Snookimania," where I had pretty much confirmed that I didn't want to see this from day one, and they proved me right; there were people here with a higher opinion of the match than I had.

Is it really "nitpicking" to not like something on a wrestling event? I think you're kind of over generalising your argument.
Nitpicking would be more like saying a good match was bad solely because of a single insignificant point.

WM 27 wasn't good for a WM. It had its moments, and then it had moments that stunk. Keep in mind, an event for that, most people are buying, it's one of the two events (RR) that you can be sure most people are buying, and not watching on a 4 inch box on their laptop.
So, for $55-65 are you getting your monies worth? In that case, probably not. I liked Extreme Rules alot more. But I was watching it on the 4 inch box on my laptop. Coincidence?

I think when you spend $40+ on a show that is about as interesting as anything else you could have watched for free you should complain. I've enjoyed a lot of WWE PPVs only to go on line and hear people rip them apart. If you're entertained you're entertained, if you think the show sucked it sucked.

On TV I generally can but even I have my limits. When I'm there live I absolutely can, things seem 100 times better live in my experience

It depends on the definition of nitpicking. I watch all wrestling to enjoy it, because it's what I enjoy. But if there's something glaringly stupid, I'm gonna be like, what the hell.
And, it's not even with botches, I'll give an example. During the Primo/Sin Cara match, that botch at the end was just part of the match for me. However, when Sin Cara completely missed Alex Riley, I was taken out of the match and thought, ohh, that was awful.

I can have fun and enjoy most wrestling I watch regardless. The Cole Lawler storyline has rapidly tested my patience and tolerance for Raw and normally I just use my DVR to fast forward all the crap they do that bores me.

Nitpicking wrestling is fun. Agreed. I enjoy nitpicking things. If that's part of how I have fun, I see no reason to denigrate it.

Of the few WWE shows I've been to, I've only been disappointed once. That was the one a few months ago where I was posting here from the arena in shock at how bad the show was.

I most definitely can, I loved WM27 and was baffled by all the hatred, aside from for the main event booking which I kind of got. Honestly just Rock's behaviour with the GM's laptop made it for me, and the fact that Miz went over sold me.
Also, I'm kind of distanced from it now aside from a handful of wrestlers, so when I heard about Christian dropping to Randy Orton, I laughed my ass off. I love Christian but it was hilarious that WWE could be that stupid and I knew the forum would explode.

I think what the OP means is who can enjoy a show without specifically hunting down the faults.

Well, I watch PPVs with my mates, drink a few beers, eat some fried chicken, and enjoy the show. The next day or whenever, I come here, and listen to and make criticisms honestly. But when I'm watching it live I just try and enjoy it.

I can complain about "Spoiler - Cena Wins" syndrome and other things that bug me, but I rarely come out of a show and say it was woeful and go overboard like people online tend to do.
I always like every WWE show. I haven't tried the same with TNA though since that company legitimately makes me angry.

I like good WWE shows, I dont like bad WWE shows.
Apart from the main event (which was salvaged by Nexus), WWE MITB 2010 had me buzzing. Awesome show.
WrestleMania 27 was poorly managed in terms of time, and the show suffered because of it.

When I'm watching something with friends or family I have to ban any insider terminology. I just want to sit and enjoy it, and think about it later.
