There are a lot fewer candidates this year when I asked a few years back, but I'm curious as to who people think it is this time around.
It could be pointed out that I forgot about Ted DiBiase, but let's face it, you probably forgot about him too.

> Chris Masters is a whipping boy
This is news to me. I assumed everyone had hopped on to the "PUSH MASTERS" bandwagon at this point.

Rey Mysterio by a million miles. The blind hate for him on this board is overwhelming.

Orton. Gets called boring, this in spite of the monster pops he gets. Also received an overreaction to something that wasn't his decision.

Maybe not everyone but I think most people, at least the ones who occasionally watch Superstars, see's that Chris Masters is being vastly underused. My vote goes to Drew. The man shows intensity in the ring that you just don't get from many heels in the ring. That and I love how he's always seems to be adapting his moveset as he goes along, rather than just stick with the very basics. He's come a long way from The Chosen One.

Randy Orton.
The claim that he has no charisma is baffling to me.

I'm a big Orton fan so I voted for him. I still hate the way Christian's reign end, but it's silly to blame Orton for it.

Drew. Wasn't overpushed, wasn't overbooked, didn't get a Superman push but got completely reamed for upwards of six months for being... a perfectly serviceable midcard heel? What?

Honestly at this point I'll go with Khali. Guy is pretty banged up by now and has problems with his knees. He's just doing the best that he can at this point. Everyone else on that list I imagine is in better physical condition, even Rey, although it's probably close. I think even the WWE realizes this now since they seem to be bringing in that Jinder Mahal fellow to either tag with him to make things easier on him or perhaps even write him off.
Yeah, the guy is no good, but I doubt he'll be around for much longer.

Orton, followed by D-Mac.

Other: Sin Cara. He touches the ropes a little bit on his first entrance and suddenly he's a botch machine according to some people.
I don't hate a lot of things, but I especially hate his treatment by those people.

I'm going with Orton... I think he's been doing a great job so far this year.

JTG is a whipping boy somehow despite doing nothing and being over. Wut? Being paired with Novak and being opposed to Regal will do that to a guy. Especially if they find his dancing irritating.

Orton and Mysterio.
Despite some of the shambolically onesided feuds he has been involved in, he has had great matches with Del Rio, Cody, Swagger, CM Punk, I could go on. The guy can still go in the ring.
And Orton is still very entertaining for me overall.

Orton, Cena and Mysterio all get way too much flack here. I voted for Orton though.
Also, I don't really think Drew is much of a whipping boy now that he has moved down the card and improved.
