Right after his feud with Ziggler, where he had been on a roll with great matches with Miz, Morrison, and Ted, they seemingly begin to plant the seeds for a feud with Punk that would be insanely entertaining and elevate Bryan. But of course, Punk gets injured, Bryan just feuds with Ted again ten thousand times and gets dropped off the PPV matches. Then, on NXT, he and Bateman were pretty much a shoo-in to win, and they would've been a great comedy/straight man tag team with great chemistry and would've most likely actually gotten that tag match and maybe won. But then, Bateman also got injured and instead Johnny Curtis, who obviously would not have won, got the win and has never been seen since. He's cursed isn't he? And just for the record this is just an observation I've made, and no, I'm not saying he's buried and asking why he isn't undisputed champion.

God, I hope not. After Kennedy/Anderson's tragic case of losing every push due to injuring himself or other people, it's hard to rule out the possibility of the Fates having it in for people.

Well, his association with the Bellas paid off for them, so he's not THAT cursed.

It seems these days that winning NXT means you're cursed, so Bateman getting injured seems like good fortune.

It's starting to look that way. But, he's only been on SmackDown for three weeks now and their roster isn't exactly stacked, so let's see what happens for a month or two, I'm sure they'll do something with him...
Right?
Right?

Somebody, I think Dave Lagana, said it best on Twitter - and I'm paraphrasing, but it was something like "5 years ago, Bryan Danielson vs. Mistico would have torn the house down. Now, Daniel Bryan vs. Sin Cara in a 5 minute match? Sigh."

Bateman didn't lose because he got injured, Bateman lost because San Diego took a giant shit all over his schtick.

I honestly don't see why the WWE don't just feud him with Regal. It's a feud that everybody seems to be clammering for yet the WWE don't seem to want to give it to us. Even if it was just on Superstars (Which I would actually prefer since then they could get a good 15 minutes or so to work) Or bring up Bateman and make the two a tag team, anything really instead have the guy rot in the lower card.

Bryan versus Regal: Wouldn't appeal to casual fans, since they'd be "boring;" meaning it would be too wrestling focused. DBII: For whatever reason, WWE unCreative has nothing for and does nothing with tag teams. Ask the Usos, the Hart Dynasty, and the remaining halfs of the Colons and the Dudebusters.

It was a great match, maybe they'll get even more time on PPV someday. Dave just likes to complain, he's trying to become king of the smarks. Scott Keith won't give it up that easy, baby!

ait, Superstars is still on?!?!?! I thought they cancelled it after Wrestlemania. Shame too, it was my favorite of the 3 WWE TV shows. I don't bother with Tough Enough...

He's just getting onto Smackdown... Give the man a chance... He just has to catch the right break...
Honestly, I loved the match with Sin Cara... Except the wacky lighting... I actually had a hard time seeing it at points... I dunno how the live crowd saw it...
